Es importante que esto se continúe en su hogar definitivo. Nuestro equipo aquí en el centro estaría encantado de discutir las necesidades de Ollie con su nueva familia. Ollie es un atractivo Border Collie de 15 años que ha regresado a nuestro cuidado por ninguna culpa suya. Actualmente está disfrutando de las comodidades de un hogar de acogida, donde se está adaptando bien a una rutina cómoda. Como un hombre mayor, Ollie ahora busca un hogar tranquilo para su retiro, donde pueda pasar sus días jugando con sus juguetes en el jardín y disfrutando de tranquilas siestas por la tarde frente a la televisión. Está entrenado para ir al baño y se siente contento cuando se le deja solito durante unas horas, aunque recomendamos aumentar gradualmente este tiempo a medida que se adapte a su nuevo entorno. Ollie puede volverse ansioso durante los paseos y prefiere rutas tranquilas donde no tenga que preocuparse por encontrar otros perros. Por esta razón, necesitará ser el único animal de compañía en su nuevo hogar. Ollie puede sentirse inseguro ante visitantes desconocidos, por lo que tener un espacio seguro y tranquilo donde retirarse le ayudará a sentirse seguro. Ha convivido con niños antes y creemos que sería más adecuado para familias con niños tranquilos y comprensivos mayores de 12 años que puedan apreciar su preferencia por una vida tranquila.

As an older boy, Ollie does have some medical needs and is currently on a weight loss journey to help him feel more comfortable. It's important that this is continued in his forever home. Whilst he might not be a spring chicken anymore, he still has so much love to give and would thrive with a family looking for a gentle and relaxed companion. Ollie enjoys fuss from his trusted friends and would flourish in a peaceful retirement home he truly deserves. Meet handsome Ollie, a 15 year old Border Collie who has found himself back in our care for no fault of his own. He's looking for a peaceful retirement home where he can spend his days playing with his favourite toys, gentle adventures and afternoon snoozes in front of the TV. Despite his age, Ollie still enjoys his walkies but these are now at a slower pace than they were. He’s housetrained and content being left for a couple of hours. Ollie can become anxious when out on walks and much prefers quiet routes where he doesn’t have to worry about encountering other dogs. Because of this, he’ll need to be the only pet in his new home. As an older, gentle boy Ollie would like a home with secondary aged children who can understand when he needs some peace and quiet to relax on his own.
