Joulukuussa 2016 eräs mies ajoi 7 tuntia tuodakseen meille koiran, jonka hän oli löytänyt niin tiukasti sidottuna, ettei se pystynyt juuri liikkumaan. Koiralla oli mukana pentue ja se oli vakavasti laihtunut. Yksi pennuista oli Peta. Valitettavasti muut pennut kuolivat, ja päätettiin viedä se taloon kasvattamaan sen itse, sillä emällä ei ollut enää mitään annettavaa, ja se olisi kuollut, jos olisimme jättäneet sen sinne. Se alkoi menestyä ja kasvoi terveeksi, leikkiseksi tytöksi. Nykyään sitä rakastavasti kutsutaan Peppa-porsaan mukaan piirrossarjan mukaan, ja se on iloinen, terve ja rakastettu.

In December of 2016, a man drove 7 hours to bring us a dog that he had found so tightly tied up that she could barely move. She had a litter of puppies with her and was severely emaciated. One of the puppies was Peta. Unfortunately the other pups died and the decision was made to take her to the house to hand rear her as her mother had nothing left to give and she would have died if we would have left her. She began to thrive and grew into a healthy, playful girl. Today she is affectionately known as Peppa pig after the cartoon and is happy, healthy and loved.
