En diciembre de 2016, un hombre condujo 7 horas para traernos un perro que había encontrado tan apretadamente atado que apenas podía moverse. Ella tenía una camada de cachorros con ella y estaba muy desnutrida. Uno de los cachorros era Peta. Lamentablemente, los otros cachorros murieron y se tomó la decisión de llevarla a la casa para criarla manualmente ya que su madre ya no tenía nada que darle y habría muerto si la hubiéramos dejado. Empezó a prosperar y creció en una chica saludable y juguetona. Hoy en día es cariñosamente conocida como Peppa pig después de la serie de dibujos animados y es feliz, saludable y querida.

In December of 2016, a man drove 7 hours to bring us a dog that he had found so tightly tied up that she could barely move. She had a litter of puppies with her and was severely emaciated. One of the puppies was Peta. Unfortunately the other pups died and the decision was made to take her to the house to hand rear her as her mother had nothing left to give and she would have died if we would have left her. She began to thrive and grew into a healthy, playful girl. Today she is affectionately known as Peppa pig after the cartoon and is happy, healthy and loved.
