Nel dicembre del 2016, un uomo ha guidato per 7 ore per portarci una cagnolina che aveva trovato legata così stretta da riuscire a malapena a muoversi. Era con lei una cucciolata di cuccioli ed era gravemente denutrita. Uno dei cuccioli era Peta. Purtroppo gli altri cuccioli sono morti e si è deciso di portarla a casa per allattarla a mano, perché la madre non aveva più nulla da dare e lei sarebbe morta se l'avessimo lasciata lì. Ha cominciato a rifiorire e è cresciuta diventando una ragazza sana e giocherellona. Oggi è affettuosamente conosciuta come Peppa Pig, come il personaggio dei cartoni animati, ed è felice, in salute e amata.

In December of 2016, a man drove 7 hours to bring us a dog that he had found so tightly tied up that she could barely move. She had a litter of puppies with her and was severely emaciated. One of the puppies was Peta. Unfortunately the other pups died and the decision was made to take her to the house to hand rear her as her mother had nothing left to give and she would have died if we would have left her. She began to thrive and grew into a healthy, playful girl. Today she is affectionately known as Peppa pig after the cartoon and is happy, healthy and loved.
