Gordon est un Cane Corso croisé magnifique avec un côté sensible. Il est initialement venu de la fourrière et a trouvé la vie en cage un peu inquiétante. Nous avons constaté qu'il peut être facilement effrayé par les bruits forts et les situations inconnues, mais lorsqu'il y a ses éducateurs présents pour le soutenir, son caractère affectueux et amusant commence à ressortir. Nous avons constaté que la nourriture est certainement le chemin vers son cœur, et c'est un excellent outil pour ses besoins de formation continus. Il apprend actuellement à marcher correctement avec un collier de tête car il peut être très fort sur la laisse. Nous avons présenté Gordon à d'autres chiens et nous avons constaté qu'il s'entend bien avec eux, il peut trouver difficile de gérer son excitation mais pourrait vivre avec un chien bien adapté dans sa nouvelle maison. Étant donné qu'il n'a probablement jamais vécu à la maison auparavant, Gordon n'est pas encore propre à l'intérieur et aura besoin de routines patientes et constantes pour l'aider à apprendre. Il recherche une maison réservée aux adultes avec des propriétaires présents pendant la journée et ayant de l'expérience avec les grandes races sensibles. Un environnement calme et prévisible l'aidera à se calmer et à prospérer à son rythme. Il aura besoin d'une maison sans enfants et ne pourra pas vivre avec des chats. Gordon fera une excellente addition à une famille qui lui consacrera le temps et le soutien nécessaires pour renforcer sa confiance. Gordon is a stunning Cane Corso mix with a sensitive side. He originally came into us from the pound and has found kennel life a little worrying. We have found he can be easily spooked by loud noises and unfamiliar situations but with his handlers nearby to give him encouragement his affectionate and goofy personality begins to shine through. We have found food is definitely the way to his heart, and this is a great tool for his ongoing training needs. He’s currently learning to walk nicely on a head collar as he can be very strong on lead. We have introduced Gordon to other dogs and found he gets on well with them, he can find it hard to manage his excitement but could live with a well matched dog in his new home. As he’s likely never lived in a home before, Gordon isn’t yet house trained and will need patient, consistent routines to help him learn. He’s looking for an adult-only home with owners who are around during the day and have experience with large, sensitive breeds. A quiet, predictable environment will help him settle and flourish at his own pace. He will need a child free home and cannot live with cats. Gordon will make a super addition to a family who can give him the time and support he needs to build on his confidence.
