Ilya is a very striking boy that recently arrived in our care alongside his brother, Hollander. He is a cross between 3 very active breed and loves to be on the move! Ilya is reserved on initial greetings with new people, however after just a short amount of time he soon finds his confidence and leans in for extra fuss.Ilya has come from a multidog household and has never known life without another dog, he therefore relies heavily on the company of other dogs for his own confidence. Ilya is looking to be rehomed where there is at least one other playful canine companion present. Ilya has previously lived with cats so could potentially do so again in his new home. Ilya will need his basic training starting from scratch although he has soon learnt that the lead means a walk, which is of course his favourite thing to do! Ilya’s previous owner reported he was housetrained but he is likely to need support when first transitioning to a new home. He will need an owner home for the majority of the day initially so he can have the time he is left home alone gradually built up.
