Récemment, nous avons enfin pu prendre Drako dans notre refuge après qu'il ait dû rester plus d'un an à la Perrera Calvià. Au Perrera, le croisé Ratero / Staffortshire a été donné par son propriétaire. Bien sûr, le long séjour là-bas a marqué le mâle d'environ 5 ans. Il est souvent assez nerveux et stressé, et attend constamment que quelqu'un s'occupe de lui et passe du temps avec lui. Ensuite, s'il est autorisé à se défouler d'abord, il se calme, le niveau de stress diminue et il peut prêter attention à son soigneur et apprécier les soins et les attentions. Drako n'a jamais connu une socialisation appropriée et doit donc d'abord apprendre à gérer les autres chiens. À l'extérieur, dans des conditions sans stress et bien sûr avec les bonnes personnes, cela sera possible. Les chats ne font certainement pas partie de ses amis. Il est si heureux et très intelligent ; ce mâle devrait nécessairement aller vers des personnes déjà expérimentées avec les chiens, qui peuvent consacrer beaucoup de temps et de patience. Vers les personnes prêtes à travailler avec lui, idéalement même avec un éducateur canin. Les petits enfants ne devraient pas être présents pour l'instant. Recently, we have finally been able to take over Drako to our shelter after he had to stay for more than 1 year in the Perrera Calvià. To the Perrera, the Ratero / Staffortshire mixed breed was given by his owner. Of course, the long stay there has shaped the approximately 5 year old male. He is often pretty nervous and stressed, and is actually waiting all the time that someone would take care and spend some time with him. Then, if he was allowed to work out first, he comes down, the stress level decreases and he can pay attention to his caregiver and enjoys the care and donations. Drako has never experienced an appropriate socialization and so he must first learn to handle other dogs. Outside the shelter, under stress-free conditions and of course with the right people, however, this will be possible. Cats definitely do not belong to his friends. He is so happy and really smart; this male necessarily should go to people already experienced with dogs, who can convey a lot of time and patience. To people who are ready to work with him, preferably even together with a dog trainer. Small children should not be around at the moment.
