14-05-26 Fig is a wonderful young pup who has recently come to us from a breeder. He’s still building his confidence around people, but at his young age he has plenty of potential to flourish in the right home with patience, kindness, and encouragement. As Fig has never lived in a home environment before, he will need help learning all the basics, including house training, walking on a lead, and general puppy manners. Like any young dog, he’ll benefit from consistent guidance and positive experiences as he discovers the world around him. Fig could live as the only dog in the home, or alongside a calm and friendly resident dog who is happy to share their space with a playful puppy companion. He could also live with sensible older children who understand that puppies need boundaries and are happy to share their space with a young, playful dog. His adopters will need to commit to puppy training and socialisation classes to help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. Fig would love an active and adventurous home where, once he comes out of his shell, he can enjoy exploring the world by your side. Fig arrived to us with a wound on his left side, where he was immediately sent to the vets and treated. It was discovered he had a wound on his side from suspected old bite wounds that had gone untreated and believed to have abscessed. The wound was extensively treated by our vets and he now has stitches from the shoulder to the back leg on his left side. He will need to continue to heal, but he is doing amazing and once his treatment is complete, he will prove to be a wonderful and happy pup! This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
