Découvrez Holly, un merveilleux Springer Spaniel de 9 ans qui cherche un foyer aimant pour profiter de ses années de retraite. Cependant, « retraite » ne veut pas dire exactement ralentir pour Holly. Elle a encore beaucoup d'énergie juvénile, une fesse constamment agitée et un amour sans fin pour les moments de jeu. Son préféré absolu ? Un ballon de tennis classique. Holly pourrait courir après l'un d'eux pendant des heures et rarement choisir de s'arrêter d'elle-même ! Bien qu'elle soit jeune d'esprit, Holly est tout de même une vieille fille qui a parfois besoin d'un doux rappel pour prendre une pause et se reposer. Elle bénéficiera d'un propriétaire qui pourra l'aider à équilibrer son enthousiasme avec un temps de détente bien mérité. Holly est extrêmement sympathique et se sent bien en présence de personnes. Elle adore avoir quelqu'un avec qui jouer, jeter ses jouets et la récompenser avec des friandises délicieuses - bien que pas trop nombreuses, car elle a un peu de poids en ce moment ! Pendant les promenades, Holly peut être assez forte et a tendance à tirer sur la laisse, donc elle aura besoin d'un propriétaire qui puisse gérer confiantement sa situation et l'aider à apprendre à se calmer pendant les promenades. Elle est généralement détendue avec d'autres chiens, souvent en faisant son propre truc et en les ignorant, ce qui signifie qu'elle pourrait apprécier les promenades sociales et rencontrer d'autres chiens sans beaucoup de problèmes. Elle pourrait également vivre avec un autre chien facile, bien socialisé, après des présentations positives dans notre centre. Si vous recherchez un compagnon amusant, affectueux, avec un esprit joueur et si vous pouvez lui offrir du temps, des indications et surtout : beaucoup de balles de tennis, Holly pourrait être le parfait match pour vous.

Meet Holly, a wonderful 9-year-old Springer Spaniel searching for a loving home to enjoy her retirement years. That said, “retirement” doesn’t quite mean slowing down for Holly. She still has plenty of youthful energy, a constantly wiggling bum, and an endless love for playtime. Her absolute favourite? A classic tennis ball. Holly could happily chase one for hours and rarely chooses to stop on her own! While she’s young at heart, Holly is still an older girl who sometimes needs a gentle reminder to take a break and rest. She’ll benefit from an owner who can help her balance her enthusiasm with some well-earned downtime. Holly is incredibly friendly and thrives around people. She loves having someone to play with, toss her toys, and reward her with tasty treats - though not too many, as she’s carrying a little extra weight at the moment! On walks, Holly can be quite strong and tends to pull on the lead, so she’ll need an owner who can confidently handle her and help her learn to settle into a calmer walking routine. She’s generally relaxed around other dogs, often choosing to do her own thing and ignore them, which means she could enjoy social walks and meeting other dogs out and about without much fuss. She could also live with another easy going, well socialised dog following positive introductions at our centre. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion with a playful spirit and you can offer her the time, guidance, and most importantly : plenty of tennis balls, Holly could be the perfect match for you.
