Jovie est une fille intelligente, pleine d'énergie, attendant simplement sa chance de briller dans un foyer aimant. Pleine d'enthousiasme et d'affection, elle adore les gens, aime les câlin et est toujours prête à satisfaire. Avec la bonne guidance et une structure, Jovie a beaucoup de potentiel pour devenir un compagnon incroyable. Malheureusement, nous ne savons pas grand chose sur son jeune âge, car elle est entrée en notre charge via la police, et il est clair qu'elle n'a pas eu le meilleur départ. En raison de cela, elle peut parfois être incertaine avec d'autres chiens, cependant, lorsqu'elle est manipulée avec confiance, elle peut marcher agréablement avec un groupe et apprend que le monde n'a pas besoin d'être intimidant. Étant un croisé lurcher, Jovie a un instinct naturel très élevé pour la chasse, donc elle serait mieux adaptée à un foyer sans chats ou petits animaux. Elle peut être forte au collier mais répond bien à un traitement calme et constant. Ce qui rend vraiment Jovie spéciale, c'est sa nature affectueuse et amusante. Elle désire ardemment se lier à quelqu'un qui lui appartient et prospérerait dans un foyer patient prêt à investir un peu de temps dans son entraînement et sa confiance. Elle regarde les autres chiens arriver et partir, et nous aimerions plus que tout qu'il s'agisse d'elle cette fois-ci. Jovie serait la plus heureuse dans un foyer avec des enfants âgés de 12 ans et plus, où elle pourrait s'installer, se sentir en sécurité et enfin profiter d'une vie stable et heureuse qu'elle mérite.

Jovie is a bright, high-energy girl just waiting for her chance to shine in a loving home. Full of enthusiasm and affection, she absolutely adores people, loves a cuddle, and is always keen to please. With the right guidance and structure, Jovie has so much potential to grow into an incredible companion. Sadly, we don’t know much about Jovie’s early life, as she came into our care via the police, and it’s clear she hasn’t had the easiest start. Because of this, she can sometimes feel unsure around other dogs, however, when handled confidently, she can walk nicely alongside a group and is learning that the world doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. As a lurcher mix, Jovie has a natural high prey drive, so she would be best suited to a home without cats or small animals. She can be strong on the lead but responds well to calm, consistent handling. What really makes Jovie special is her loving, fun nature. She is desperate to bond with someone of her own and would thrive in a patient home willing to invest a little time in her training and confidence. She watches other dogs come and go, and we would love nothing more than for it to be her turn next. Jovie would be happiest in a home with children aged 12 and over, where she can settle, feel safe, and finally enjoy the stable, happy life she deserves.
