18-04-26 Kingston est un jeune homme inquiet qui est venu chez nous depuis un éleveur et qui trouve les gens très intimidants en ce moment, souvent en fuyant lorsqu'on s'approche de lui. Il compte beaucoup sur ses amis de la cage pour se rassurer, mais sa côté joueur commence à apparaître lorsqu'il est dans la cour et pense que personne ne le regarde. Kingston pourrait avoir besoin d'un peu de temps pour gagner en confiance, mais dans un foyer calme et accueillant réservé aux adultes, il a un grand potentiel de sortir de sa coquille. Il aura besoin d'au moins un autre chien bienveillant et confiant dans son nouveau foyer pour l'aider à le guider et à lui offrir le réconfort dont il a besoin alors qu'il apprend la vie à la maison. N'ayant jamais vécu dans un foyer auparavant, Kingston aura besoin d'adoptants patients et compréhensifs pour l'aider à apprendre les bases, y compris l'entraînement à la maison et, avec le temps, la promenade en laisse. Le monde extérieur peut sembler intimidant au début, donc commencer par des explorations douces dans le jardin aidera à s'adapter progressivement. Avec du temps, de la patience et un environnement soutenant, Kingston est sûr de gagner en confiance et de s'épanouir. Kingston est arrivé avec une peau sèche et squameuse ainsi qu'une certaine alopecie sur son dos, qui pourrait repousser grâce aux soins attentionnés. Il a également eu 17 dents retirées lors de la castration, et les vétérinaires ont noté que quelques-unes manquaient déjà à son arrivée. Kingston dispose d'un document de voyage. Ce chien peut trouver un foyer avec un chien résident.

18-04-26 Kingston is a worried boy who has come to us from a breeder and currently finds people quite overwhelming, often running away when approached. He relies heavily on his kennel friends for reassurance, but his playful side begins to show when he’s out in the yard and thinks no one is watching. Kingston may take a little time to build confidence, but in a calm, accepting adult-only home, he has great potential to come out of his shell. He will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home to help guide him and give him the reassurance he needs as he learns about home life. Having never lived in a home before, Kingston will need patient and understanding adopters to support him as he learns the basics, including house training and, in time, walking on a lead. The outside world may feel overwhelming at first, so starting with gentle garden exploration will help him gradually adjust. With time, patience, and a supportive environment, Kingston is sure to grow in confidence and thrive. Kingston has come to us with dry and flaky skin as well as some alopecia on his back, which may grow back with TLC. He has also had 17 teeth removed at the time of castration, and the vets have noted a few were missing on arrival. Kingston has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
