Lennox nous a été apporté par un refuge pour animaux errants et n'était pas identifié, donc nous n'avons aucune information sur sa vie avant d'être en cage. On pense qu'il est un ancien chien de travail, donc on suppose qu'il n'est pas ami avec les chats / petits rongeurs (voir photo ci-dessous lorsqu'il a repéré le chat du voisin !) plus comme nous ne savons pas comment il se comporte avec les enfants, nous devons dire qu'il ne faut pas laisser les jeunes enfants près de lui. Il mesure environ 25-26 pouces et nous pensons qu'il a environ 4 ans. Il a été vacciné, identifié et stérilisé et a été traité contre les puces et les vers - il avait des ténias, donc cela doit être refait régulièrement. J'ai remarqué pendant que j'étais dans la salle d'attente chez le vétérinaire qu'il semble très anxieux autour des hommes inconnus et aurait pris la fuite s'il l'avait pu. Il essayait de monter sur mes genoux et de se cacher sous ma chaise pour éviter l'homme - qui l'ignorait complètement. Dans nos cages, il a eu comme colocataires quelques chiennes calmes et il va généralement bien avec elles mais il y a eu quelques chiennes envahissantes qu'il n'aimait pas vraiment. Il peut être un peu "insistant" avec certains autres chiens qui passent dans le couloir devant sa cage. Donc il a certainement besoin de formation et de socialisation. C'est l'un des favoris des promeneurs de chiens car il est très facile à conduire mais peut avoir peur parfois - des hommes inconnus / bruits forts etc... mais être exposé à cela l'aide. Nous ne savons pas comment il se comporte dans une maison - si jamais il en a connu une, donc il faudra le traiter comme un chiot concernant l'entraînement aux cabinets. Il semble être un bon garçon, mais a besoin de formation et de stabilité dans sa vie. Lennox est actuellement en West Yorkshire. Lennox has come to us via a stray pound and wasn't microchipped, so we don't have any info about his life pre- kennels. It is believed he is an ex-worker, so will assume he is NOT cat / small furry friendly (see photo below when he's spotted next door's cat!) plus as we don't know what he's like with children, we'll have to say no young kids around him. He's about 25-26 ins tts and we think he's about 4 yrs old now. He's been vaccinated, been chipped and neutered and has been treated for fleas and worms - he had tapeworms, so that needs to be redone regularly. I noticed whilst in the waiting room at the vets that he seems very anxious around strange men and would have run off if he'd been able. He was trying to climb onto my lap and get under my chair to avoid the man - who was completely ignoring him anyway. In our kennels, he's been room mates with a couple steady bitches and is mostly OK with her but there were a couple of pushy ones he really didn't like . He can be a bit "in yer face" with some of the other dogs walking in the corridor past his kennel run. So he definitely needs some training and socialising. He's one of the dog walkers' favourites to take out as he's very easy on a lead but can get scared at times - strange men/ loud noises etc...but being exposed to them is helping him. We don't know what he's like in a house - IF he's ever been in one, so would need treating as a puppy with regards to housetraining.
