Les raisons pour lesquelles nous aimons ce chien… C’est une jeune fille douce et sensible, avec un tempérament charmant. Elle aime rencontrer de nouveaux chiens. Elle mérite une maison aimante et douce. Des adoptants actifs et compréhensifs qui peuvent prendre tout lentement avec moi. Ma chose préférée est : des promenades calmes avec mes amis. Peut vivre avec des enfants de 15 ans et plus. Peut vivre avec un autre chien de course ou seule. Si vous adoptez Lucy (ou l’un de nos chiens), vous aurez le droit de recevoir un soutien comportemental gratuit de la part de notre équipe qualifiée de comportementalistes pour tout problème dont vous avez besoin d’aide pendant sa vie. Des informations supplémentaires seront fournies lors de l’adoption de Lucy. Veuillez noter que ce soutien n’est disponible que pour les chiens adoptés auprès de Forever Hounds Trust. Je ne suis pas encore disponible pour l’adoption car j’ai besoin d’être pleinement évaluée ! Lucy vient d’arriver dans notre care, et nous avons hâte de la découvrir. À mesure que Lucy avance dans son évaluation, nous comprendrons quel type de maison elle nécessite. Nous pouvons déjà avoir une offre de maison adaptée pour Lucy sur notre liste d’attente. Cependant, si nous n’entendons rien de nos offres de maisons actuelles, nous rendrons alors Lucy disponible, fournirons plus de détails et accepterons de nouvelles offres de maisons pour elle. Sweet Lucy is a petite and affectionate girl looking for a calm and loving home. She is a very bright girl who loves learning and engaging with her handlers. Lucy has already learnt her name in a very short space of time and is practising checking in on walks for tasty treats. Lucy would thrive with adopters who can continue building her confidence by choosing quiet walking areas where she won’t need to worry about encountering off-lead dogs. As a Greyhound who has spent all of her life in kennels, she can find busier environments overwhelming and would therefore prefer a quieter home and walking environment. Like many ex-racing greyhounds, Lucy arrived with us feeling a little stiff and uncomfortable, but she has made fantastic progress in our care. She is currently seeing a physiotherapist who is helping her continue to build strength and mobility. Because of this, Lucy would be best suited to a home where she won’t need to manage lots of stairs. Lucy would benefit from an experienced greyhound home who will be patient, allow her to settle at her own pace, and gently introduce her to the wider world while she continues to enjoy home comforts. The love she receives will be returned sevenfold.
