Misty est l'une des trois chiennes trouvées dans un champ avec leur mère abandonnée. La famille a été régulièrement visitée et nourrie par une dame vivant localement jusqu'à ce qu'un foyer soit trouvé pour la mère. À ce moment-là, les trois chiots sont arrivés à Adoption Dogs Portugal. En se basant sur sa taille actuelle et celle de sa mère, elle restera un chien de petite taille, inférieur à 10 kg une fois adulte. Au début, les chiots étaient extrêmement timides, effrayés par le contact humain et couverts de tiques et de puces, mais ils ont depuis prospéré grâce aux soins et à l'attention. Le seul garçon de la famille, Monty, a déjà été adopté et a eu une transition très réussie vers la vie en famille. Misty a maintenant été traitée contre les parasites (internes/externes), pucée et a commencé son programme de vaccination. Bien qu'elle adore jouer avec d'autres chiens, y compris sa sœur Marnie, elle reste assez timide avec les humains, et pour cette raison, nous recherchons une maison calme pour elle, où les personnes lui permettront de devenir plus confiante à son propre rythme. Un chien plus âgé, doux et qui aime jouer serait un atout pour elle. Cependant, Misty est certainement curieuse des personnes qu'elle reconnaît et accepte maintenant un petit cadeau de la main de quelqu'un qu'elle fait confiance.

Misty is one of a litter of three puppies that were discovered living in the fields with their abandoned mother. The family was regularly visited and fed by a lady living locally until a home could be found for the mother. At that point, the three puppies came to Adoption Dogs Portugal. Based on her size now, and the size of her mother, she will remain a small dog of under 10kg once fully grown. At first, the puppies were extremely shy, scared of human contact and covered in ticks and fleas, but they have since thrived with care and attention. The only boy of the family, Monty, has already been adopted and has made a very successful transition to family life. Misty has now been treated for parasites (internal/external), microchipped and started her vaccination regime. While she loves playing with other dogs, including her sister Marnie, she remains quite shy with humans, and for that reason, we are seeking a quiet home for her, with people who will allow her to become more confident at her own pace. An older gentle dog in the Home, that likes to play would be a bonus for her. However, Misty is definitely curious about people who she recognises and will now take a treat from the hand of someone she trusts.
