Pedro est un adorable petit garçon qui nous est arrivé d'un éleveur et cherche maintenant sa maison aimante pour toujours. Lorsqu'il est arrivé, il était inquiet et submergé, mais il a fait d'excellents progrès et maintenant il vous salue avec une queue qui wagaille et a vraiment commencé à sortir de sa coquille. Depuis qu'il est dans son foyer d'adoption, Pedro s'est bien installé et s'est senti comme chez lui dès le premier jour. Il est un garçon heureux et affectueux qui aime se blottir avec ses amis chiens d'adoption la nuit et dort profondément à côté d'eux jusqu'au matin. Il apprécie les voyages en voiture et s'amuse beaucoup à courir dans un champ sécurisé, où il a un excellent rappel. Pedro a prouvé être un petit garçon intelligent et réactif qui a envie d'apprendre. Il marche maintenant magnifiquement en laisse dans les zones plus calmes et gagne en confiance constamment. Son dressage aux toilettes est encore en cours, mais il progresse lentement en suivant les autres chiens dans le jardin. Pedro trouve un grand réconfort auprès des autres chiens et bénéficiera de vivre avec au moins un chien résident gentil et confiant pour la compagnie et la sécurité. Il est actuellement en famille d'accueil avec plusieurs petits chiens, y compris des compagnons de la taille d'un Bichon et un petit Cockerpoo, et s'entend très bien avec eux, se blottissant joyeusement ensemble et profitant de leur compagnie. Pedro a montré précédemment certains comportements de gardiennage des ressources autour de la nourriture avec d'autres chiens lors de l'association, donc il a été nourri séparément en prévention. Récemment, il a commencé à manger avec ses compagnons d'adoption sans problème, ce qui est très encourageant, bien que ses adoptants restent vigilants et continuent une gestion raisonnable selon les besoins. Il a aussi gagné en confiance avec les humains et est maintenant à l'aise avec eux, aimant l'affection et les interactions. Il a rencontré des visiteurs à la maison, y compris des adolescents, et une fois présentés, il se détend et accepte joyeusement les câlin et les friandises. Pedro est également en famille d'accueil avec un chat et va bien avec eux, donc il pourrait être adopté avec un félin qui connaît les chiens. Pedro prospérera dans un environnement calme avec des adoptants qui peuvent continuer à renforcer sa confiance et lui offrir le temps, la patience et la sécurité dont il a besoin. C'est un petit chien intelligent et affectueux plein de potentiel, et avec le bon soutien, il deviendra un compagnon véritablement merveilleux. Ce chien peut être adopté avec un chien résident. Pedro is a wonderful little boy who came to us from a breeder and is now searching for his loving forever home. When he first arrived he was worried and overwhelmed, but he has made lovely progress and now greets you with a waggy tail and has really started to come out of his shell. Since moving into his foster home, Pedro has settled in beautifully and made himself at home from day one. He is a happy, affectionate boy who loves cuddling up with his foster dog friends at night and sleeps soundly alongside them until morning. He enjoys travelling in the car and has great fun running in a secure field, where he has excellent recall. Pedro has proven to be a clever and responsive little boy who is eager to learn. He now walks beautifully on a lead in quieter areas and is gaining confidence all the time. His toilet training is still a work in progress, but he is improving steadily and learning by following the other dogs into the garden. Pedro takes great comfort from other dogs and would benefit from living with at least one kind and confident resident dog for companionship and reassurance. He is currently fostered with several small dogs, including Bichon-sized companions and a small Cockerpoo, and gets on very well with them, happily cuddling up together and enjoying their company. Pedro has previously shown some resource guarding behaviours around food with other dogs while at rescue, so he has been fed separately as a precaution. More recently he has begun eating alongside his foster companions without issue, which is very encouraging, though his adopters should be mindful of this and continue sensible management as needed. He has also grown in confidence around people and is now comfortable with humans, enjoying affection and interaction. He has met visitors to the home, including teenagers, and once introduced he relaxes and happily accepts cuddles and treats. Pedro is also in foster with a cat and is fine with them, so could be homed with a dog-savvy feline. Pedro would thrive in a calm home with adopters who can continue to build his confidence and give him the time, patience and reassurance he needs. He is a bright, affectionate little dog with so much potential, and with the right support he will make a truly wonderful companion. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
