Pepper a besoin d'un foyer où elle ne sera pas laissée seule pendant longtemps, et de propriétaires compréhensifs qui pourront travailler avec elle sur son anxiété de séparation en la construisant progressivement et uniquement une fois qu'elle sera installée dans son nouveau foyer. Pepper conviendrait à une famille active qui veut un chien qu'elle peut emmener faire de longues promenades, mais qui veut aussi un chien qui se blottira contre eux sur le canapé le soir en regardant la télévision. Elle est vraiment le meilleur des deux mondes et attend simplement de trouver sa famille pour toujours. * Ce chien est actuellement en cours de réadaptation dans notre programme Homestay. Dans ce programme, le chien reste chez son propriétaire actuel jusqu'au moment de l'adoption, lorsque la propriété passe brièvement à Dogs Trust puis au nouvel adoptant. Les avantages du Homestay pour un chien sont qu'il réduit les perturbations et empêche le chien d'être mis en pension, toutefois il y a un risque que le propriétaire retire son chien du programme avant l'adoption. Nous comprenons le chagrin que cela peut causer aux futurs adoptants, et nous travaillons étroitement avec les propriétaires pour minimiser la probabilité de cela. Toutefois, c'est encore une possibilité, et si cela arrive, Dogs Trust priorisera la recherche d'un autre chien adapté pour les adoptants. Conditions d'habitation : Pepper est un Poodle x Beagle très jolie. C'est une fille très joueuse qui adore les câlin et avoir un genou sur lequel s'enrouler. Elle adore absolument être autour des personnes, et idéalement elle voudrait un foyer où quelqu'un est présent la plupart du temps car elle souffre d'anxiété de séparation et est bruyante et stressée lorsqu'elle est laissée seule. Pepper peut vivre avec des enfants âgés de 11 ans ou plus, qui ont une expérience antérieure avec les chiens car elle peut être bruyante lorsqu'elle joue, ce qui peut être assez fort. Pepper est joueuse avec les chiens, mais à nouveau, elle peut être bruyante lorsqu'elle voit un autre chien ou mélange comme un beagle typique, ce que certains chiens n'apprécient pas. Elle peut vivre avec un autre chien à la maison en fonction d'une rencontre réussie au centre, mais l'autre chien devra correspondre à son style de jeu et supporter ses cris initiaux. Pepper needs a home where she won't be left alone for long, and has understanding owners that can work on her seperation and build it up slowly and only once she is settled in her new home. Pepper would suit an active family that want a dog they can take out on lots of long walks, but also want a dog that would cuddle up to them on the sofa in the evening while watching TV. She really is the best of both, and is just waiting to find to her forever family. * This dog is currently being rehomed under our Homestay scheme. Under this scheme, the dog stays with their current owner until the point of adoption, when ownership transfers briefly to Dogs Trust and then to the new adopters. The benefits of Homestay for a dog are that it minimises disruption and prevents the dog having to come into kennels, however there is the potential the owner may pull out of the scheme prior to adoption. We understand the upset this may cause to potential adopters, and we work closely with owners to minimise the likelihood of this. However, it remains a possibility, and should this occur, Dogs Trust will prioritise finding adopters an alternative suitable dog. Pepper is a very pretty Poodle x Beagle. She is a very playful girl, who loves cuddles and having a lap to curl up on. She absolutley loves being around people, and would ideally like a home where someone is around most of the time as she does suffer from seperation, and is vocal & distressed when left. Pepper can live with children age 11+, that have previous dog experience as she can be vocal when playing which can be quite loud. Pepper is playful with dogs, but again, she can be vocal when she sees another dog or mixes like a typical beagle, which some dogs don't appreciate. She can live with another dog in the home depending on a successful meet in the centre, but the other dog would need to match her playstyle and can put up with her intial shouting. Pepper is an active girl who is looking for a home that can take her on lots of adventures and go out and about exploring, but she also loves having cwtches on the sofa and spending time with her favourite people.
