Raven est une fille douce et curieuse qui nous a été envoyée par un éleveur. Lorsqu'elle est arrivée, elle était très inquiète, mais sa confiance a progressivement augmenté et son caractère taquin et comique commence vraiment à ressortir. Elle s'est maintenant adaptée à la vie en famille d'accueil et continue de faire des progrès lents mais sûrs. La vie en famille était complètement nouvelle pour Raven au début et elle la trouvait étouffante, mais elle s'est parfaitement adaptée et est maintenant totalement dressée. Elle a adopté beaucoup des commodités de la maison et elle saute maintenant joyeusement sur le canapé pour s'asseoir à côté de ses familles d'accueil, où elle apprécie une attention douce. Raven reste parfois timide et craintive, et elle peut encore être inquiète lorsqu'on la touche, mais elle a un tempérament très agréable et doux et n'a jamais montré le moindre grognement envers les humains, les chiens ou le chat résident. Elle a été très bien pendant les bains et les soins et s'habitue maintenant à se faire brosser régulièrement dans le cadre de sa routine. Raven adore les autres chiens et aura besoin d'un autre chien aimant et confiant dans sa nouvelle maison pour l'aider à guider et à la rassurer. Elle tire un grand réconfort de la compagnie canine, s'entend très bien avec les chiens en famille d'accueil, et vit également heureusement avec un chat qu'elle ignore, donc elle pourrait potentiellement vivre avec un chat qui s'y connaît en chiens. Elle trouverait les jeunes enfants trop chargés pour le moment, mais nous considérerions des adolescents plus âgés doux et expérimentés avec les chiens qui lui permettraient de s'installer à son propre rythme. Raven est une petite fille curieuse et gourmande, les bonnes friandises restent encore le chemin vers son cœur et sont un excellent moyen d'aider à continuer à construire sa confiance. Elle a fait d'excellents progrès en marche et est passée des premiers pas avec une laisse et un harnais à véritablement apprécier ses sorties. C'est un plaisir de voir à quel point elle est excitée pour les promenades et elle marche très bien sans tirer. Elle a vu du trafic léger et y a fait face, et les familles d'accueil ont même commencé à travailler le rappel avec une longe, ce qui se passe bien pour l'instant. Elle voyage également bien dans une caisse dans la voiture. Avec de la patience, de la compréhension et beaucoup d'amour, Raven continuera à s'épanouir en un compagnon affectueux, fidèle et joyeux plein de personnalité et de divertissement. Elle aura besoin d'adoptants qui comprennent les chiens ex-élevage nerveux et peuvent continuer à construire sur tous les excellents progrès qu'elle a réalisés. Nos vétérinaires ont noté que Raven souffre d'une luxation de la rotule de grade 2, qui pourrait s'améliorer avec un exercice doux alors qu'elle développe de la musculature. Elle a également eu une hernie abdominale réparée lors de sa stérilisation et a été traitée pour une infection de l'oreille. Ce chien peut être adopté avec un chien résident. Ce chien peut être adopté avec des chats.

Raven is a sweet, curious girl who has come to us from a breeder. When she first arrived she was quite worried, but her confidence has steadily grown and her cheeky, comical personality is really starting to shine through. She has now been settling into foster life and continues to make slow and steady progress. Home life was completely new to Raven at first and she found it overwhelming, but she has adapted beautifully and is now fully house-trained. She has embraced many of the comforts of home and will now happily jump up on the sofa to sit beside her foster carers, where she enjoys a gentle fuss. Raven remains a timid and hand-shy little girl at times, and she can still be worried about handling, but she has such a lovely, gentle temperament and has never shown even the slightest grumble towards people, dogs or the resident cat. She has been very good for bathing and grooming and is becoming used to regular brushing as part of her routine. Raven absolutely adores other dogs and will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide and reassure her. She takes huge comfort from canine company, gets on brilliantly with the dogs in foster, and is also living happily alongside a cat, who she ignores, so she could potentially live with a dog-savvy feline. She would find young children too much at the moment, but we would consider gentle, dog-savvy older teenagers who would allow her to settle at her own pace. Raven is a curious little girl and a total foodie, with tasty treats still very much the way to her heart and a wonderful aid in helping her continue to build confidence. She has made lovely progress with walking and has gone from beginner steps on lead and harness to genuinely enjoying her outings. It is a joy to see how excited she gets for walks and she walks very nicely without pulling. She has seen light traffic and has taken it in her stride, and foster has even begun recall work on a longline, which is going well so far. She also travels well in a crate in the car. With patience, understanding and plenty of TLC, Raven will continue to blossom into a loving, loyal and joyful companion full of character and fun. She will need adopters who understand nervous ex-breeding dogs and can continue building on all the wonderful progress she has made. Our vets have noted that Raven has Grade 2 patella luxation, which may improve with gentle exercise as she builds muscle. She also had an abdominal hernia repaired at the time of her spay and has been treated for an ear infection. This dog can be homed with a resident dog. This dog can be homed with cats.
