Très sympathique, Rosie est une jeune femme lurcher de petite taille, estimée à environ un an. Rosie a été trouvée abandonnée dans un très mauvais état et est actuellement chez un famille d'accueil, apprenant à connaître la vie en famille ! Elle est extrêmement affectueuse et adore rien de plus qu'un câlin (idéalement sur vos genoux !). Elle prospère grâce à la compagnie humaine et n'aime pas passer trop de temps seule pour le moment. Cela devrait s'améliorer progressivement, mais elle ne sera pas heureuse si elle passe de longues périodes seule. Rosie apprécie beaucoup la compagnie des enfants et serait heureuse de partager sa maison avec des enfants plus âgés - nous pensons qu'elle pourrait être trop énergique pour les jeunes enfants, sauf s'ils sont très confiants face aux chiens enthousiastes. Rosie s'entend parfaitement avec les autres chiens de toutes les tailles et formes, et aimerait idéalement vivre avec un autre chien joueur. Elle a beaucoup d'énergie et cherchera son propre divertissement si elle s'ennuie ; nous pensons donc qu'avoir un partenaire de jeu sera important pour elle ! Comme la plupart des jeunes lurchers, Rosie aura besoin de beaucoup d'exercice physique ainsi que de stimulation mentale. Elle adore ses promenades et est très bien élevée au collier, même si elle a très envie de faire de nouveaux amis ! Rosie n'a probablement pas eu beaucoup d'expérience de la vie en famille et a probablement vécu à l'extérieur dans son ancienne maison. Elle apprend encore à connaître la vie à l'intérieur de la maison et cela sera un travail en cours.

Lovely Rosie is a small-sized lurcher girl, estimated to be around a year old. Rosie was found abandoned in very poor condition and is currently in a foster home, learning about home life! She's incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than a cuddle (ideally on your lap!). She does thrive on human company and is not keen on spending much time alone at the moment. This should improve with a gradual build-up, but she isn't a dog who will be happy spending long periods by herself. Rosie really enjoys the company of children and would be happy to share her home with older kids – we feel she may be too bouncy for younger children, unless they are very confident around enthusiastic dogs. Rosie gets along brilliantly with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, and would ideally like to live with another playful dog. She does have a lot of energy, and will look for her own entertainment if she's bored; so we feel that having a playmate will be important for her! Like most young lurchers, Rosie will need plenty of physical exercise as well as mental stimulation. She loves her walks and is very well-mannered on the lead, even though she is really keen to make new friends! Rosie doesn't seem to have had much experience of home life, and probably was used to living outside in her previous home. She's still learning about life inside the house and this will be a work-in-progress in her new home too. She's almost got the hang of house-training but will still have the odd accident, and she is still very puppy-ish in her behaviour in general. Rosie is a very intelligent girl and should continue to pick up on training quickly, but she does need adopters who are willing to put the work in! A decent sized garden would be ideal, or access to safe areas for off-lead exercise as she loves to run. Little Rosie is an absolute delight and will make someone very happy – could that be you? Could live with children 8+ (or possibly younger if very confident). Would prefer to live with a playful dog. Needs someone at home most of the time initially, and not too much time alone in the longer-term. Needs ongoing basic training – she is basically a puppy in an adult body! Needs plenty of exercise and human attention.
