Spike is a friendly English Bulldog with typical breed temperament who was seized for animal welfare reasons. Initially shy and insecure, he needs time to warm up to new situations and people. Once bonded, he shows the classic bulldog traits of humor and stubbornness. He's very insecure outdoors and wears a muzzle due to potential redirected aggression when overwhelmed. He benefits from structured routine and gets along well with other dogs in his foster home. Spike enjoys car rides and is more of a couch potato than an adventure seeker. He needs experienced owners with patience, motivation and willingness to work with him daily. Not suitable for homes with children, cats or small animals. Requires quiet household with dog experience.
