Après avoir passé les 2,5 dernières années dans un foyer d'accueil aimant, il est maintenant prêt à passer à la prochaine étape de son parcours - trouver une maison où il pourra continuer son entraînement et atteindre tout son potentiel. Défilez pour en lire plus. Tommy a été dressé comme trotteur à un jeune âge, et il est maintenant à un stade où une famille expérimentée peut commencer à le dresser et à le monter à nouveau. Il est un apprenant rapide et disposé lorsqu'il est traité doucement et avec patience. Il est un peu original avec une personnalité sympathique en conséquence. Tommy est très affectueux et apprécie la compagnie humaine, mais il préfère une approche calme et respectueuse et n'aime pas qu'on le pique ou qu'on s'occupe trop de lui. Comprendre ses limites l'aidera à prospérer. Tommy s'entend bien avec les autres poneys et est facile à manipuler dans les soins quotidiens - il est facile avec le ferblancier et simple à vermifuger. Il a fait un long chemin depuis qu'on l'a trouvé abandonné et attaché à une clôture au Ballinasloe Fair, et il mérite vraiment une maison sûre et compétente pour continuer son progrès.

Tommy is a 14.2hh pony with a big heart and a bright future ahead of him. After spending the last 2.5 years in a loving foster home, he is now ready to move on to the next stage of his journey — finding a home where he can continue his training and reach his full potential. Scroll to read more. Tommy has previously been broken as a trotter at a young age, and he’s now at a stage where an experienced home can begin working towards breaking and riding him again. He’s a quick and willing learner when handled gently and with patience. He’s a bit of a quirky character with a great personality to match. Tommy is very affectionate and enjoys human company, but he prefers a calm, respectful approach and doesn’t like being poked or over-handled. Understanding his boundaries will help him thrive. Tommy gets on well with other ponies and is good to handle in day-to-day care — he’s easy with the farrier and straightforward to worm. He has come a long way since being found abandoned and tied to a fence at Ballinasloe Fair, and he truly deserves a secure, knowledgeable home to continue his progress.
