Belles Whitney est une fille indépendante qui apprécie d'avoir son propre espace mais qui aime aussi un câlin avec sa famille lorsqu'elle se sent à l'aise. Elle a un tempérament calme à la maison et adore faire la sieste, trouvant heureusement un endroit confortable pour se reposer pendant une grande partie de la journée. Elle est propre à l'intérieur et s'est très bien comportée à l'intérieur une fois installée. Whitney semble contente d'avoir son propre espace et ne demande pas constamment l'attention, ce qui en fait une excellente compagne facile à vivre. Whitney aime sortir pour des promenades et explorer. Elle marche raisonnablement bien en laisse mais peut parfois être un peu saccadée, surtout si elle repère quelque chose qu'elle aimerait poursuivre. Elle s'intéresse aux petits animaux et à la faune, donc les adoptants devront être attentifs à cela pendant les promenades. En raison de ce désir de chasse, elle n'a pas été testée avec des chats et est peu susceptible d'être adaptée à vivre avec des chats. Elle est bonne avec les autres chiens et pourrait vivre avec un chien résident calme et compatible, bien qu'elle soit également heureuse en tant que seul chien à la maison. Elle a été respectueuse envers les chiens qu'elle a rencontrés et apprécie généralement leur compagnie. Whitney bénéficie d'introductions lentes et d'une approche patiente pendant qu'elle apprend à connaître quelqu'un. Une maison calme avec peu de visiteurs lui conviendrait le mieux. Une fois qu'elle se sent en sécurité, elle est une jeune fille très douce et tendre. Elle pourrait vivre avec des enfants plus âgés, sensés, âgés de 16 ans et plus, et serait un excellent ajout à la famille. Une maison avec un jardin sécurisé serait idéale pour Whitney afin qu'elle puisse se détendre et profiter du temps en extérieur. C'est un chien adorable et sensible qui prospérera avec des adoptants gentils et patients qui seront heureux de lui laisser le temps de s'installer et de construire un lien à son rythme.

Beautiful Whitney is an independent girl who enjoys having her own space but also likes a cuddle with her people when she feels comfortable. She has a calm nature in the home and loves to snooze, happily finding a cosy spot to relax for much of the day. She is clean in the house and has been very well behaved indoors once settled. Whitney seems content having her own space and does not demand constant attention, making her a lovely, easy companion to live with. Whitney enjoys getting out for walks and exploring. She walks reasonably well on the lead but can be a little darty at times, particularly if she spots something she would like to chase. She has an interest in small animals and wildlife, so adopters will need to be mindful of this on walks. Because of this prey drive she has not been cat tested and is unlikely to be suitable to live with cats. She is good with other dogs and could live with a calm, compatible resident dog, although she would also be happy as the only dog in the home. She has been respectful of the dogs she has met and generally enjoys their company. Whitney benefits from slow introductions and a patient approach while she gets to know someone. A quiet home with few visitors would suit her best. Once she feels safe she is a very sweet and gentle girl. She could live with older, sensible children aged 16+ and would make a great addition to the family. A home with a secure garden would be ideal for Whitney so she can relax and enjoy time outdoors. She is a lovely, sensitive dog who will thrive with kind, patient adopters who are happy to give her time to settle and build a bond at her own pace.
