William and Winston could easily be twins – at least in temperament. At the animal shelter, the two have developed into good friends. They are still reserved and somewhat shy, setting clear boundaries, but they do so in their own gentle way with a warning hiss. For William and Winston, we are searching for a suitable home – preferably together, but also separately if a suitable cat is already in place. Most importantly, their new human family must have understanding for their insecurity and be willing to give them the time and patience they need to build trust. A free roam is an absolute must for both. Ideally, they will find a home on a farm or with people who can offer them a safe environment with plenty of freedom. Like many of their fellow travelers, William and Winston also came from a spay/neuter operation and could not return to their original place. Since then, they have been waiting with us for their good fortune. Both are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed and can now move into their new home. This cat needs outdoor access.

William und Winston könnten glatt Zwillinge sein – zumindest vom Wesen her. Im Tierheim haben sich die beiden zu guten Freunden entwickelt. Sie sind noch zurückhaltend bis scheu und setzen ihre Grenzen klar, machen dies jedoch auf ihre ganz eigene, freundliche Art mit einem warnenden Fauchen. Für William und Winston suchen wir ein passendes Zuhause – gerne gemeinsam, aber auch getrennt, sofern bereits eine passende Katze vorhanden ist. Wichtig ist vor allem, dass ihre neuen Menschen Verständnis für ihre Unsicherheit mitbringen und ihnen die Zeit und Geduld schenken, die sie brauchen, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Freigang ist für beide ein absolutes Muss. Idealerweise finden sie ein Zuhause auf einer Hofstelle oder bei Menschen, die ihnen ein sicheres Umfeld mit viel Freiheit bieten können. Wie viele ihrer Weggefährten stammen auch William und Winston aus einer Kastrationsaktion und konnten nicht mehr an ihren ursprünglichen Platz zurückkehren. Seitdem warten sie bei uns auf ihr Glück. Beide sind kastriert, geimpft, gechippt und entwurmt und dürfen ab sofort in ihr neues Zuhause umziehen.
