Tarot is a sweet young boy who finds comfort and confidence in the company of other dogs. He loves having his canine friends close by, whether he’s following them around or snuggling up beside them for a peaceful snooze. Having a confident doggy companion helps Tarot feel safe, so he’ll be looking for a home with a friendly, confident adult dog who can show him the ropes and help him settle in, subject to a successful introduction at the centre. He may also be able to share his home with confident, dog-savvy cats.Tarot will need a patient, understanding family who can give him plenty of time to settle into his new surroundings and discover the world at his own pace. Gentle encouragement, positive reinforcement and a calm approach will help him continue to build his confidence and learn that new experiences can be exciting. As Tarot grows in confidence, we expect his Border Collie traits to begin shining through. With the right support, he has the potential to become an active, fun-loving companion who will enjoy exploring the world alongside his family. Tarot would be best suited to an older family where everyone understands that he may sometimes need a little quiet time and space while he finds his paws. As he’s still young, he’ll also need someone around for most of the day to help him with house training, settling into home life and continuing to develop his confidence.Tarot has so much potential, and we can’t wait to see him flourish in the right home. For his forever family, helping him discover new experiences, celebrate his little victories and grow into the happy, confident dog he’s meant to be will be a truly rewarding journey. Could you be the one to help Tarot find his confidence and begin his next chapter? Published: 21st October, 2026 Author: Katrina Hyde Help us bring stray dogs In From the cold this winter.
