Aksel is a roughly 9-year-old dog of German Shepherd type. He was surrendered to the shelter due to an inability to continue providing care for him. He’s spent his entire life in a kennel, so he’s not used to frequent human presence or regular walks. Putting on his collar takes longer, because Aksel would much rather leave his crate without a leash—just as he probably used to be let out of his kennel in the past. Nevertheless, he’s very excited to see us; sometimes, in his excitement, he might nibble a bit, but there’s absolutely no aggression in it. He accepts the muzzle and bravely endures veterinary procedures. On walks, he walks nicely on the leash—until he encounters other dogs, which he doesn’t particularly like. In his future home, he should be an only pet.

Aksel to ok. 9 letni pies w typie owczarka niemieckiego. Został oddany do schroniska z powodu braku możliwości dalszej opieki. Całe życie spędził w kojcu, więc nie jest przyzwyczajony do częstej obecności człowieka czy regularnych spacerów. Zakładanie mu obroży trwa dłużej, bo Aksel najchętniej wyszedłby z boksu bez smyczy, jak kiedyś pewnie był wypuszczany z kojca. Mimo wszystko bardzo cieszy się na nasz widok, czasem w ekscytacji może podgryzać, ale nie ma w tym cienia agresji. Akceptuje kaganiec i dzielnie znosi zabiegi weterynaryjne. Na spacerze ładnie chodzi na smyczy, dopóki nie spotka innych psów, za którymi nie przepada- w przyszłym domu powinien być jedynakiem.
