Anxo had the life every dog deserves for years. He lived in the countryside with his owner, an elderly man who adored him, and his great companion on adventures: a majestic mastiff dog who was his best friend and protector. Together they shared walks, naps in the sun, and the peace of feeling safe. For Anxo, that corner of the world was everything. Life changed abruptly. His owner fell seriously ill and, overnight, the house became empty. To make matters worse, in the midst of confusion, Anxo was separated from his great mastiff friend and ended up in the cold kennel of an overcrowded animal shelter. In a matter of hours, Anxo lost everything: his home, his human reference point, and his best furry friend. The silence of the shelter replaced the barking of play. Fortunately, Anxo is no longer in that hostile place; he is now with us at the shelter. Although he initially arrived with a broken gaze and a heart full of confusion, his nobility has not changed. He is a dog who knows what it means to live in a family, respects time limits, and maintains that unwavering loyalty that only dogs who have had a home know. Anxo does not seek luxuries. Durante años, Anxo tuvo la vida que todo perro merece. Vivía en el campo junto a su dueño, un hombre mayor que lo adoraba, y su gran compañero de aventuras: un imponente perro mastín que era su mejor amigo y protector. Juntos compartían paseos, siestas al sol y la tranquilidad de sentirse a salvo. Para Anxo, ese rincón del mundo lo era todo. La vida cambió de golpe. Su dueño enfermó gravemente y, de un día para otro, la casa quedó vacía. Por si fuera poco, en mitad de la confusión, Anxo fue separado de su gran amigo mastín y terminó en el frío canil de una perrera masificada. En cuestión de horas, Anxo lo perdió todo: su hogar, su humano de referencia y a su mejor amigo peludo. El silencio de la perrera reemplazó a los ladridos de juego. Afortunadamente, Anxo ya no está en ese lugar tan hostil; ahora se encuentra con nosotros en el refugio. Aunque al principio llegó con la mirada rota y el corazón lleno de confusión, su nobleza no ha cambiado.
