What happens after that is uncertain… “I just wanted to help one dog…” With these words, Ayla’s owner turned to us in desperation. Three months ago, he took Ayla in from Romania. What he didn’t know: The fostering organization was aware of her behavioral issues, but they kept quiet about them. As it had to happen, Ayla bit a person. Instead of support? Radio silence. The organization blocked the owner on all channels. Since then, he’s been fighting alone, desperately searching for a solution. Even euthanasia had already been considered… We were able to quickly arrange an emergency placement—but only until August 5! After that, there’s the threat of Ayla being returned to her owner, into an already escalating situation. Who is Ayla really? Ayla is not an aggressively aggressive dog without reason. Her issue is clear: she doesn’t want to be touched by strangers. She communicates this very clearly (growling). If this is ignored, she snaps—and would even bite. But if you respect her boundaries, she shows a completely different side: cuddly and affectionate (once trust has been established), gets along well with other dogs, tolerant of cats—even small animals are no problem, calm and unobtrusive indoors, house-trained, sleeps through the night, walks beautifully on leash, travels smoothly by car, can be left alone, rarely barks, has no hunting or protective instincts, moderate energy level (very calm for a Husky!), suitable for office environments. Ayla is trainable, wears a muzzle without any problems, and has already made progress in training. Further training is still needed in impulse control, resource management, and behavior in specific situations. What Ayla needs: clear rules and the ability to read body language, no household with small children, no constant visitors or disturbances. We won’t leave you alone! We offer support through dog training and also vacation care.

Was danach passiert, ist ungewiss… „Eigentlich wollte ich nur einem Hund helfen …“ Mit diesen Worten wandte sich Aylas Besitzer verzweifelt an uns. Vor 3 Monaten nahm er Ayla aus Rumänien auf. Was er nicht wusste: Dem vermittelnden Verein waren ihre Verhaltensauffälligkeiten bekannt, doch sie wurden verschwiegen. Es kam, wie es kommen musste: Ayla biss einen Menschen. Statt Unterstützung? Funkstille. Der Verein blockierte den Besitzer auf allen Kanälen. Seitdem kämpft er alleine, verzweifelt auf der Suche nach einer Lösung. Sogar Euthanasie stand bereits im Raum… Wir konnten kurzfristig eine Notfallstelle organisieren, aber nur bis zum 05.08.! Danach droht die Rückkehr zum Besitzer, in eine bereits eskalierte Situation. Wer ist Ayla wirklich? Ayla ist kein grundlos aggressiver Hund. Ihr Thema ist klar: Sie möchte sich von fremden Menschen nicht anfassen lassen. Sie kommuniziert das deutlich (Knurren). Wird das ignoriert, schnappt sie – und würde auch beißen. Respektiert man ihre Grenzen, zeigt sich eine ganz andere Seite: verschmust & anhänglich (nach Vertrauensaufbau), verträglich mit Hunden, katzenverträglich, sogar Kleintiere sind kein Problem, ruhig & unauffällig im Haus, stubenrein, schläft nachts durch, läuft super an der Leine, fährt problemlos Auto, kann alleine bleiben, bellt kaum, kein Jagd- oder Schutztrieb, mittleres Energielevel (für Husky sehr ruhig!), bürogeeignet. Ayla ist lernfähig, trägt problemlos Maulkorb und hat im Training bereits Fortschritte gemacht. Weiterer Trainingsbedarf besteht bei Impulskontrolle, Ressourcen und Verhalten in bestimmten Situationen. Was Ayla braucht: klare Regeln & Körpersprache lesen können, kein Haushalt mit kleinen Kindern, kein ständiger Besuch / Unruhe Wir lassen euch nicht alleine!
