We are Ayshe and Aslan, siblings. The circumstances of our arrival at the shelter left our caregivers speechless and show how little value some people place on animals: our owner gave us to friends and asked them to bring us to the shelter. He himself had apparently traveled abroad and just wanted to get rid of us. Aslan had been unable to urinate for days and was really, really unwell. He had to be taken to the animal clinic immediately, the only way to save his life. Me, Ayshe, wasn't doing well either. I had a lot of blood in my urine and pain when urinating. At the shelter, we were treated and now we're both doing well again. We will have to eat special food for the rest of our lives. And possibly we will have to go to the vet more often to have our bladder and urine examined. At 4 years old, we are still young and we wish for responsible people to adopt us. We don't need outdoor access, but an apartment with a netted balcony would be a dream for us! Older children are also welcome to live with you. If you are interested in us and have a written consent form for keeping animals from the landlord or own a home, please feel free to contact the shelter.
