Bonjour, je m'appelle Benny et je suis un chien très sympathique mais peu ordinaire et je cherche mon foyer définitif. Je suis arrivé au centre car je vivais avec ma sœur de portée mais nous ne nous entendions pas, donc bien que je sois très sociable en dehors de la maison avec d'autres chiens, il serait préférable que je sois le seul chien résident. Je suis un type très amusant qui adore jouer, en fait, je pourrais avoir besoin de limiter mes jeux de ramassage car je pourrais le faire pendant des heures et ce n'est pas très bon pour moi!!! L'équipe ici m'apprend maintenant des échanges et un contrôle des impulsions car je peux être assez exigeant concernant les jouets. Je suis très bien élevé, et la plupart du temps je marche très bien en laisse. J'ai de bonnes capacités de rappel et j'ai été habitué à être en liberté autour d'autres chiens sans aucun problème. Je suis un très gentil garçon mais aussi un peu sensible. Il me faut un peu plus de temps pour développer ma confiance avec les personnes du sexe masculin, donc j'aurai besoin de nouveaux propriétaires prêts à prendre leur temps avec moi et à m'offrir beaucoup d'amour, de positivité et de patience. Ensuite, vous verrez le vrai Benny et à quel point je peux être affectueux et charmant. J'ai eu beaucoup de peur chez le vétérinaire par le passé et j'ai dû porter une muselière, mais l'équipe ici a fait un excellent travail avec moi pour me montrer que ce n'est pas si effrayant et ma confiance commence à croître. Je suis très gourmand, ce qui rend tout cet entraînement très amusant et délicieux, donc je n'ai hâte que d'en faire davantage - apparemment je suis très rapide à apprendre! J'aime l'extérieur, donc j'espère vraiment que mon nouveau foyer a un grand jardin et j'aime les promenades où je peux renifler et explorer. Hey there, I'm Benny and I am a lovely unusual looking dog and I'm on the hunt for my forever home.I have come into the centre as I was living with my litter sister but we just didn't get along, so although I can be very sociable outside of the home with other dogs it will be best if I am the only resident dog.I am a really fun guy who loves to play, in fact I may just need my games of fetch restricting as I could do it for hours and that isn't too good for me!!! The team here are now teaching me swaps and some impulse control as I can get quite demanding when it comes to toys. I am very well mannered, and most of the time walk very well on my lead. I have good recall skills and have been used to being off lead around other dogs with no issues at all.I am a very sweet boy but also a little sensitive. I take a little longer to build up trust with male handlers so will need new owners who are willing to take their time with me and shower me with love, positivity and patience. Then you will get to see the real Benny and how lovely and affectionate I can be. I have been super worried at the vets in the past and had to wear a muzzle, but the team here have been doing some great work with me around this to show me it's not so scary and my confidence is starting to grow.I am super foody which makes all this training great fun and super tasty, so I can't wait to do more - apparently I am very quick to learn! I love the outdoors so really hope my new home has a good sized garden and I enjoy walks where I can sniff and explore.
