Bianchina and her two golden children Birra and Billo were among the new arrivals that our partners Paola and Pierpaolo had promised to introduce us to during our project trip in late August 2026. Bianchina had lived with a shepherd, mostly confined to a small cage. No one could explain why. When she had babies, the shepherd wanted to get rid of them as quickly as possible. An animal rights activist found out and managed to find good homes for some of the babies. The mother and two of the babies remained. The activist then contacted our partners in Stintino, and so Bianchina, her daughter Birra, and son Billo came to the Rescue. As we were able to convince ourselves, the little family had already settled in well. Bianchina proved to be very friendly and approachable. Birra and Billo are typical puppies, lively, friendly, playful, and curious. As always, the Rescue is only a short stop for the little family, because a real home cannot replace it. We very much hope that Bianchina, Birra, and Billo will soon be able to travel to Germany to find their dream home here forever. Während unserer Projektreise Ende August 2026 stand natürlich auch der Besuch im Rescue unserer Partner Paola und Pierpaolo auf dem Plan. Sie hatten schon angekündigt, dass sie uns einige Neuzugänge vorstellen wollten.Zu diesen Neuzugängen gehörten Bianchina und ihre beiden goldigen Kinder Birra und Billo. Bianchina hatte bei einem Schäfer gelebt. Meistens eingesperrt in einem kleinen Käfig. Warum, das konnte uns niemand erklären. Als sie dann Babys bekam, wollte der Schäfer so schnell wie möglich alle loswerden. Eine Tierschützerin erfuhr davon und schaffte es, für einige der Babys gute Zuhause zu finden. Die Mama und zwei Kleine blieben übrig. Die Tierschützerin wandte sich dann an unsere Partner in Stintino, und so kamen Bianchina, ihr Töchterchen Birra und Söhnchen Billo ins Rescue.Wie wir uns überzeugen konnten, hatte sich die kleine Familie schon gut eingelebt. Bianchina zeigte sich als sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Birra und Billo sind welpentypisch aufgeweckt, freundlich, verspielt und neugierig.Wie immer soll das Rescue auch für die kleine Familie nur eine kurze Zwischenstation sein, denn ein richtiges Zuhause kann es nicht ersetzen.
