Comme beaucoup de Chihuahuas, Chico est vigilant, intelligent et plein de charme. Il est affectueux, mais uniquement à ses propres conditions, et il cherche un foyer calme et compréhensif où il se sentira en sécurité et en confiance. Chico est un petit chien actif qui aime rester occupé. Il apprécie les longues promenades, le temps de jeu dans la cage libre, et même un bon jeu de ballon ! Malgré sa petite taille, il a beaucoup d'énergie et s'épanouit lorsqu'il reçoit une stimulation physique et mentale. Chico a un fort sens de l'indépendance et peut être un peu agressif si poussé, donc il a besoin d' propriétaires patients qui comprennent les particularités de la race. L'expérience avec les Chihuahuas serait un grand avantage. Il est mieux adapté comme seul chien dans le ménage. Chico ne peut pas vivre avec des chats ou des enfants et a besoin d'un environnement calme, réservé aux adultes, où il pourra se détendre et construire sa confiance à son rythme.
