I am Colanko, born on 01.03.2026, and I run through life with a smile, as if I had already won the jackpot. Now all that’s missing is one thing: my own family. With my beautiful honey-colored fur, warm brown button eyes and cheerful grin, I manage to conquer hearts. I am curious, open and look forward to everything life has in store for me – no matter whether exciting smells, new people or joint adventures. I probably have a hunting dog mix in me. That’s why I’m looking for people who can provide me with physical and mental stimulation and who want to discover the world with me. Sniffing games, nose work, long walks and many shared experiences will certainly bring me a lot of joy later. My story unfortunately did not start as carefree as it should have been. Together with my siblings, I lived on a farm in Croatia. When our animal welfare partner Kristina was informed and looked for us, the man presented her with a cruel choice: either she takes all the puppies with her – or he would drown us. Without hesitation, she took us all to safety and thus gave us the chance of a new life. Of course, as a puppy, I still have to learn the puppy 1×1. Housebreaking, walking on a leash, being alone and all the little rules of everyday life are still unknown to me. With patience, loving consistency and a large portion of shared time, I will develop into a great companion. I am looking for people who not only see my pretty face, but are looking for a friend for life – one who laughs with them, experiences adventures and greets every day with a wagging tail. Ich bin Colanko, geboren am 01.03.2026, und ich laufe mit einem Lächeln durchs Leben, als hätte ich den Jackpot schon gewonnen. Jetzt fehlt eigentlich nur noch eins: meine eigene Familie. Mit meinem wunderschönen honigfarbenen Fell, den warmen braunen Knopfaugen und meinem fröhlichen Grinsen schaffe ich es, die Herzen im Sturm zu erobern. Ich bin neugierig, offen und freue mich über alles, was das Leben für mich bereithält – ganz egal, ob spannende Gerüche, neue Menschen oder gemeinsame Abenteuer. Vermutlich steckt in mir ein Jagdhund-Mix. Deshalb wünsche ich mir Menschen, die mich körperlich und geistig artgerecht auslasten und Lust haben, gemeinsam mit mir die Welt zu entdecken. Schnüffelspiele, Nasenarbeit, ausgedehnte Spaziergänge und viele gemeinsame Erlebnisse werden mir später bestimmt viel Freude bereiten. Meine Geschichte begann leider nicht so unbeschwert, wie sie eigentlich sollte. Gemeinsam mit meinen Geschwistern lebte ich auf dem Hof eines Mannes in Kroatien. Als unsere Tierschutzpartnerin Kristina informiert wurde und nach uns sah, stellte der Mann sie vor eine grausame Wahl: Entweder sie nimmt alle Welpen mit – oder er würde uns ertränken. Ohne zu zögern nahm sie uns alle in Sicherheit und schenkte uns damit die Chance auf ein neues Leben. Natürlich muss ich als Welpe das Welpen-1×1 noch lernen. Stubenrein werden, an der Leine laufen, alleine bleiben und all die kleinen Regeln des Alltags kenne ich noch nicht. Mit Geduld, liebevoller Konsequenz und einer großen Portion gemeinsamer Zeit werde ich mich zu einem tollen Begleiter entwickeln. Ich wünsche mir Menschen, die nicht nur mein hübsches Gesicht sehen, sondern einen Freund fürs Leben suchen – einen, der mit ihnen lacht, Abenteuer erlebt und jeden Tag mit wedelnder Rute begrüßt.
