Donovan est arrivé à la fourrière en août 2025, estimé à environ 7 ans. Il est malheureusement entré à la fourrière dans un état de santé très précaire. Il vivait dans une maison avec un chat et un lapin, et son ancien propriétaire souffrait du syndrome de Diogène. C'est déchirant d'imaginer comment il s'est retrouvé dans de telles circonstances. À son arrivée, Donovan était compréhensiblement un peu craintif et incertain face à son environnement. Tout était nouveau pour lui, et le changement brutal pour un environnement de fourrière animé, entouré d'inconnus et de aboiements incessants, était visiblement très déstabilisant. Il semblait aussi hésitant lors des sorties, comme s'il n'avait pas l'habitude des promenades ni des nouveaux environnements. Donovan s'entend bien avec les autres chiens. Au début, il partageait son box avec une chienne, Kelly. Ils cohabitaient paisiblement sans aucun problème, bien qu'ils n'interagissent pas vraiment ni ne jouent ensemble. Kelly est partie en famille d'accueil et, depuis, il partage son espace avec une nouvelle compagne de box, la magnifique Panda, et les deux forment un duo merveilleux. Donovan s'est vraiment épanoui depuis l'arrivée de Panda, et on les voit souvent jouer ensemble et profiter de la compagnie l'un de l'autre. Au milieu d'un environnement si chaotique

Donovan arrived at the pound in August 2025, estimated to be around 7 years old. He sadly came into the pound in a very poor condition. He had been living in a house alongside a cat and a rabbit, and his previous owner was suffering from Diogenes syndrome. It is heartbreaking to think how he ended up in such circumstances. When he first arrived, Donovan was understandably a little timid and unsure of his surroundings. Everything was new to him, and the sudden change into a busy pound environment, surrounded by unfamiliar people and constant barking, was clearly overwhelming for him. He also seemed unsure when going out, as if he was not used to walks or new environments. Donovan gets along well with other dogs. At first, he shared his cage with a female dog, Kelly. They coexisted peacefully without any issues, although they did not really interact or play together. Kelly went into foster and since then, he has been sharing his space with a new pen mate, the beautiful Panda, and the two of them are a wonderful match. Donovan has really lightened up since Panda arrived, and you will often see them playing together and enjoying each other’s company. In the middle of such a chaotic env
