Duke est encore un jeune homme d'environ 2 ans et bénéficierait vraiment d'un foyer actif qui puisse lui offrir beaucoup de stimulation mentale et physique. C'est un merveilleux garçon avec beaucoup de potentiel. Duke a des besoins médicaux persistants que le centre discutera avec les adoptants potentiels. Duke a déjà passé un certain temps dans un foyer où il était propre, mais comme il n'est pas habitué à être seul, sa nouvelle famille devra progressivement y travailler, en lui offrant beaucoup d'enrichissement pour le tenir occupé. Comme beaucoup de jeunes dynamiques, Duke peut parfois être un peu trop excité et ne fait pas toujours les meilleures choix, ce qui peut entraîner des comportements de morsure. En raison de cela, il cherche un foyer patient, réservé aux adultes, avec des adoptants capables de continuer son entraînement positif et de le guider vers des comportements plus appropriés. Il aimerait avoir un jardin sécurisé et sûr pour lui tout seul où il pourrait jouer et explorer sereinement. Duke est très motivé par la nourriture et les jouets, ce qui rend l'entraînement amusant et récompensant. Il est désireux de plaire et met toujours tout son effort, il a juste besoin des bonnes personnes pour l'aider à continuer à apprendre et à prospérer. Duke devra être le seul animal de compagnie dans son foyer définitif et aimerait des adoptants capables de poursuivre son socialisation. Il voyage aussi bien en voiture, ce qui en fait le compagnon idéal pour des aventures tranquilles à la campagne.

Duke is still quite a youngster at around 2 years old and would really benefit from an active home that can give him lots of mental and physical stimulation. He's a fabulous boy with so much potential. Duke does have ongoing medical needs which the center will discuss with potential adopters. Meet Duke, our handsome and energetic boy! He’s full of life and loves being out and about and is always ready for an adventure. Duke has previously spent some time in a home where he was housetrained, but as he isn’t used to being left alone, his new family will need to gradually build this up, providing him with plenty of enrichment to keep him busy. Like many lively youngsters, Duke can sometimes get a little overexcited and doesn’t always make the best choices, which can lead to mouthing behaviours. Because of this, he’s looking for a patient, adult-only home with adopters who can continue his positive training and guide him toward more appropriate behaviours. He would love a safe and secure garden of his own where he can happily play and explore. Duke is very motivated by both food and toys, which makes training fun and rewarding. He’s eager to please and always tries his hardest and he just needs the right people to help him continue learning and thriving. Duke will need to be the only pet in his forever home and would love adopters that can continue his socialisation. He also travels well in the car, making him the perfect companion for quiet countryside adventures.
