Farao was given up by his family, and we were already a bit cautious because this type of cat doesn't often come our way. It turns out that Farao has tested positive for FIV, and he also has chronic diarrhea for which he needs special food and probiotics. However, his character is one of gold, he loves cuddling, he is very people-oriented so in itself an ideal housemate. Farao should either be placed alone or with other FIV cats, best with people who have experience with hairless cats. Adoption in the Netherlands is not possible due to legislation. It's a needle in a haystack, but we strongly hope we will find it.

Farao werd afgegeven door zijn familie, we waren al wat op ons hoede want dit type kat komt niet vaak op ons pad. Blijkt dat Farao positief is getest aan FIV, hij heeft ook een chronische diarree waar hij speciaal voer en probiotica voor heeft. Zijn karakter echter is er 1 van goud, hij is gek op knuffelen, hij is heel mensgericht dus op zich een ideale huisgenoot. Farao dient echter ofwel alleen geplaatst te worden of met andere FIV katjes, het beste bij mensen die ervaring hebben met naaktkatten. Ook is adoptie in Nederland niet mogelijk door de wetgeving. Het is een speld in een hooiberg maar we hopen ten stelligste dat we die zullen vinden.
