Rencontrez Fatima, un chien femelle très doux qui est avec nous depuis qu'elle était un petit chiot. Nous croyons qu'elle a été tragiquement heurtée par une voiture, une blessure qui lui a laissé une partie de une patte manquante. C'est déchirant de penser qu'elle ait pu être rejetée à cause de cette blessure, mais le courage de Fatima reste intact ! Fatima se débrouille vraiment bien, même si elle ne peut pas aller aussi loin que les chiens de son âge. La résilience de Fatima, malgré ce qu'elle a traversé, est vraiment inspirante. My name is Fatima… and I’m still waiting for someone to choose me. I came to the shelter when I was just a tiny puppy, and this has been my world ever since. Before I arrived, something terrible happened to me. It is believed that I was hit by a car, and because of my injury, I lost part of one of my paws. Perhaps that was even the reason I was abandoned. I’ll never be able to tell you. But please don’t feel sorry for me. I don’t think there is anything wrong with me. I get around really well and enjoy my walks, although I can’t walk quite as far as some dogs my age. I simply need someone who understands my limits and is happy to enjoy life at my pace. I was born on 15 December 2022, so I’m still a young girl with so much life — and love — ahead of me. I’m medium-sized, spayed, and all I really need now is something I have never had: a home of my own. I may have a paw that looks a little different, but I have the same heart as every other dog here. And after growing up in a shelter, I think it’s time I discovered what a sofa feels like… what it means to belong to someone… and what it feels like to know you’ll never be left behind again.
