12 ans Flamenca a été remise par son chasseur avec 2 autres chiens âgés à l'une de nos écuries partenaires. Après avoir été fidèle pendant plus d'une décennie, elle n'était plus utile pour lui - une histoire trop commune en Espagne. Elle a atterri sur ses pieds dans l'une de nos merveilleuses écuries partenaires qui a beaucoup d'espace extérieur verdoyant pour qu'elle profite. C'est un chien merveilleusement équilibré, confiant avec les gens et bon avec les autres chiens. Elle adore les marques d'affection et est extrêmement en bonne santé malgré son âge. Nous aimerions l'aider à vivre ses dernières années dans un foyer aimant, entourée de toutes les commodités dont un chien de son âge devrait déjà être habitué. Mais pour Flamenca, ce sera le premier foyer de sa vie. Pouvez-vous lui offrir l'opportunité de se blottir sur un canapé pour la première fois de sa vie ? 12 year old Flamenca was surrendered by her hunter with 2 other elderly dogs to one of our partner kennels. After serving him loyally for over a decade, she was no longer of use to him - a story thats all too familiar in Spain. She landed on her feet and went to one of our wonderful partner kennels that had lots of wonderful luscious green outside space for her to enjoy. From there she made the trip to the UK and into foster as an only dog. She is a wonderfully well balanced dog, confident with people and good with other dogs but is also happy being the only dog in the home. She loves to lounge around in the home and garden in between her walks which she also enjoys. She is happy to be left for a few hours without any challenges, she’s clean in the home, she isn’t destructive and in general is just a really easy going girl. She’s great on the lead although like most Podencos can still pull a little if she catches the scent of something exciting! She sleeps soundly through the night, eats well and loves her treats. She’s still a little bit nervous in the car, but is happy to hop in and out and is becoming more relaxed on journeys with practice. Flamenca will be neutered, is vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
