I would like a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace. I would like to be homed with my sister Bee. I would like a secure garden to spend time in. I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I will be spayed before finding my forever home. Gemma would like a home with her sister Bee 26-09-26 Gemma is a sweet girl who has come into our care from a breeder alongside her sister, Bee. These two girls love each other and take great comfort and reassurance from each other, so we would really love to find them a wonderful home together. Gemma is feeling quite overwhelmed to find herself here and can be quite shy at the moment, but she is trying so hard to be brave. Despite her worries, she is happy to be handled and with plenty of love, patience and TLC, we think she has the potential to really blossom once she is in a home environment. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with worried ex-breeding dogs and understand that she will need time to settle and gain confidence at her own pace. We would consider homing her with gentle, dog-savvy teenagers aged 13+. Although Gemma and Bee are looking for a home together, we feel they would also really benefit from having another kind and confident resident dog in their new home. Having another dog around would give them additional reassurance and help them to build their confidence. Gemma has never lived in a home before, so her new family will need to be kind and patient as she learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She doesn't yet walk on a lead or harness and this will need to be gradually introduced, beginning with gentle practice in the garden. Gemma is such a lovely, gentle girl and in the right home we think she will truly thrive. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
