When Godi came to us, it quickly became clear: something was seriously wrong. He ate poorly, looked exhausted, and his gaze spoke louder than words ever could. The veterinary examination revealed the full extent of his condition: severe pain caused by extensive inflammation of his teeth and gums. Kidney failure, detected through a blood test. A body that desperately needed help. To make the dental surgery possible at all, Godi had to be admitted to the animal clinic the day before and have his kidneys flushed via an intravenous drip. He was so brave. During the operation, eight teeth were extracted—and only then did his journey back to life finally begin. And today? He’s a different cat altogether—a happy cat. Godi has made a fantastic recovery. He now roams freely around the house, plays, cuddles, enjoys close companionship, and gets along wonderfully with the other cats. He’s sweet, gentle, playful—and you can really tell how grateful he is for every good feeling he experiences. How old is he? We don’t know for sure. But we’d estimate he’s in his prime, right in the middle of life, ready for a home that truly sees him. For Godi, we’re looking for a foster home that will give him warmth, care, and a touch of everyday magic for the rest of his life. He doesn’t need outdoor access. Other cats aren’t a problem—he just wants to belong and finally feel at home. To provide him with that, we’re seeking people who have experience, plenty of time, and a big heart. Godi has so much love to give— he just needs someone who’ll accept it.

Als Godi zu uns kam, war schnell klar: Irgendetwas stimmt nicht. Er fraß schlecht, wirkte erschöpft, und sein Blick sagte mehr als Worte. Bei der tierärztlichen Untersuchung zeigte sich dann das ganze Ausmaß: Starke Schmerzen, weil Zähne und Zahnfleisch massiv entzündet waren. Niereninsuffizienz, entdeckt durch eine Blutuntersuchung. Ein Körper, der dringend Hilfe brauchte. Damit die Zahn‑OP überhaupt möglich war, musste Godi einen Tag vorher in die Tierklinik und am Dauertropf seine Nieren durchspülen lassen. Er war so tapfer. Bei der Operation wurden ihm 8 Zähne gezogen – und danach begann endlich der Weg zurück ins Leben. Und heute? Ein anderer Kater. Ein glücklicher Kater. Godi hat sich fantastisch erholt. Er läuft inzwischen im Haus herum, spielt, schmust, genießt Nähe und versteht sich wunderbar mit den anderen Katzen. Er ist lieb, sanft, verspielt – und man merkt ihm an, wie dankbar er für jedes gute Gefühl ist. Wie alt er ist? – Wir wissen es nicht. Aber wir schätzen ihn im besten Alter, mitten im Leben, bereit für ein Zuhause, das ihn sieht. Für Godi suchen wir einen Pflegeplatz, der ihm sein restliches Leben Wärme, Fürsorge und ein bisschen Alltagszauber schenkt. Freigang braucht er nicht. Andere Katzen sind kein Problem. – Er möchte einfach dazugehören und endlich ankommen. Dazu braucht es Menschen mit Erfahrung, Zeit und ein großes Herz. Godi hat so viel Liebe zu geben – er braucht nur jemanden, der sie annimmt.
