À propos de Hachi Hachi incarne le type d'Akita Inu : fier, majestueux et indéniablement séduisant. Son pelage bien entretenu et son physique en bonne santé témoignent de l'amour et des soins qu'il a reçus tout au long de sa vie. Ne laissez pas son âge vous décourager. Il est amical et apprécie la compagnie des personnes, acceptant volontiers les caresses et l'attention de notre évaluateur, permettant même un examen doux de ses dents et de ses gencives qui étaient excellents pour son âge. Il a pris les friandises très délicatement, s'est assis, a tendu sa patte et a volontairement monté dans le coffre de la voiture. Lors de l'évaluation, Hachi a tiré initialement sur sa laisse. Nous pensons que cela est partiellement dû à une harnais mal ajusté et à son enthousiasme initial pour un nouvel environnement. Avec un harnais ou un collier bien ajustés, il serait mieux géré lors des promenades. Personnalité Amical et sociable : Hachi est habitué à un foyer animé et est habitué à être autour d'enfants et de personnes de tous âges. Il adore la compagnie humaine et se sent bien lorsqu'il est entouré de gens, donc il aimera un foyer où il ne sera pas seul pendant de longues périodes. Enfants : Enfants âgés de 6 ans et plus, ce qui en fait un excellent ajout à la vie de famille. Le seul chien : Bien qu’il soit intéressé par les autres chiens et qu’il ne cherche pas à causer de problèmes, il préfère être le seul chien dans la maison, profitant de toute l’amour et l’attention. Pas de chats : En raison de son fort instinct de chasse. Maison idéale Hachi est un garçon intelligent qui sait comment ouvrir les portes, il est donc essentiel de garder les portes verrouillées pour s'assurer qu'il reste en sécurité à la maison. Il a besoin d'un jardin sécurisé avec une clôture robuste de 1,8 mètre. Hachi ne convient pas à la vie en appartement. Si vous habitez dans un logement loué, nous devons voir une preuve de l'autorisation du propriétaire pour posséder un grand chien sur les lieux - c’est non négociable ! Are you ready to welcome a regal, loving companion into your life? Meet Hachi, a 9-year-old Japanese Akita Inu with a heart full of love to give. Through no fault of his own, Hachi is seeking a new home due to a change in family circumstances. This affectionate and well-cared-for boy has been with his family since he was 8-10 weeks old, and although they are heartbroken, they want nothing more than for him to find the perfect new family. About Hachi Hachi is the epitome of the Akita Inu breed: proud, majestic, and undeniably handsome. His well-groomed coat and healthy physique are testament to the love and care he’s received throughout his life. Please don’t let his age put you off. He is friendly and enjoys the company of people, willingly accepting fuss and attention from our assessor, even allowing a gentle check of his teeth and gums which were great for his age. He took treats really gently, sat and gave paw and jumped into the back of the car willingly. On the assessment Hachi did pull initially on his walk. We feel this is partially due to an ill-fitting harness and his initial excitement for being in a new environment. With a well fitted harness or collar he would be managed better on walks. Personality Friendly and Social: Hachi is used to a busy household and is used to be around children and people of all ages. He adores being around people and thrives on human interaction so would love a home where he isn’t left alone for long periods. Children: Children aged 6 and above, making him a wonderful addition to family life. The Only Dog: While he’s interested in passing dogs and doesn’t look to cause trouble, he prefers to be the sole canine in the home, soaking up all the love and attention. No Cats: Due to his high prey drive Ideal home Hachi is a clever boy who knows how to open doors, so it’s essential to keep doors locked to ensure he stays safe and contained home. He needs a secure garden with robust 6ft fencing. Hachi would not be suited to life in a flat.
