Actuellement, Heidi est une petite fille très effrayée qui se sent très submergée d'être ici. Elle n'est clairement pas habituée à être manipulée et trouve l'interaction humaine très inquiétante. Si vous vous déplacez lentement et doucement, elle acceptera d'être soulevée et manipulée, elle a simplement besoin de temps pour apprendre que les gens peuvent être gentils. Heidi cherchera un foyer calme et tranquille avec des adoptants patients qui comprennent les besoins des chiens ex-reproducteurs effrayés. Elle aura besoin de beaucoup de temps, de réconfort et de soins tendres pendant qu'elle s'habitue progressivement, construit la confiance et commence à découvrir le monde autour d'elle. Les progrès seront lents, mais voir sa confiance croître sera extrêmement récompenseur. Elle tire un grand réconfort de la compagnie d'autres chiens et aura besoin d'au moins un autre chien aimant et confiant dans son nouveau foyer. Avoir un ami canin à ses côtés l'aidera à se sentir en sécurité et lui montrera que la vie dans un foyer aimant n'est pas si effrayante après tout. Comme Heidi n'a jamais vécu dans un foyer auparavant, ses adoptants devront être compréhensifs alors qu'elle apprend tout sur la vie au foyer et de nouvelles compétences comme l'entraînement aux toilettes. Elle devra également apprendre à marcher avec une laisse et un harnais, en commençant à l'abri du foyer et du jardin avant de progressivement acquérir la confiance nécessaire pour explorer davantage. Heidi cherche un foyer qui l'accepte exactement telle qu'elle est et qui lui donne tout le temps nécessaire pour s'épanouir. Avec patience, compréhension et le soutien d'un compagnon canin, nous sommes sûrs que cette douce fille apprendra progressivement à faire confiance et à profiter de la vie qu'elle mérite. 30-05-26 Heidi has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a very special forever home where she can begin the next chapter of her life. At the moment, Heidi is a very scared little girl who is feeling quite overwhelmed to find herself here. She is clearly not used to being handled and finds human interaction very worrying. If you move slowly and gently, she will accept being picked up and handled, she simply needs time to learn that people can be kind. Heidi will be looking for a calm and quiet home with patient adopters who understand the needs of scared ex-breeding dogs. She will need plenty of time, reassurance and TLC as she gradually settles in, builds trust and starts to discover the world around her. Progress may be slow, but watching her confidence grow will be incredibly rewarding. She takes great comfort from the company of other dogs and will need at least one other kind, confident resident dog in her new home. Having a canine friend by her side will help her feel secure and show her that life in a loving home isn't so scary after all. As Heidi has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be understanding as she learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She will also need to learn how to walk on a lead and harness, beginning in the safety of the home and garden before gradually building up the confidence to explore further afield. Heidi is looking for a home that will accept her exactly as she is and give her all the time she needs to blossom. With patience, understanding and the support of a canine companion, we are sure this sweet girl will slowly learn to trust and enjoy the life she deserves. Heidi has a travel document.
