As with all small pets, rabbits will need to be housed securely away from any other pets in the home. All of our single rabbits are waiting to mix with owned pets. Please only apply for them if you already have a rabbit who is in search of a new friend. If you currently do not have any rabbits in your care and would like to rehome, please check the pairs/groups we have available. Rabbits do enjoy the companionship of humans and can become very affectionate and enjoy taking tasty fresh forage from your hands. Rabbits do not enjoy being handled and they can find loud noises and sudden movement scary, so they are often suited to families with slightly older children. Rabbits need lots of space to keep them fit, healthy and happy, the ideal outdoor accommodation for a pair should consist of either a shed/wendy house or a 1.8m (6ft) single level hutch, attached to a 3m long by 2m wide by 1m high run.
