Rencontrez Jasper, un jeune mâle Collie d'à peine plus d'un an, plein de potentiel et d'une véritable passion pour la vie. Jasper est un garçon très axé sur les personnes qui prospère grâce aux relations. Il veut être avec vous, travailler avec vous et apprendre à vos côtés. Il formera un lien fort et appréciera d'être partie intégrante de la vie quotidienne. Jasper est exactement ce qu'un Collie de travail doit être, intelligent, motivé, actif et toujours en réflexion. En raison de cela, il ne convient pas à un foyer typique de compagnie. Il a besoin d'un but, d'une structure et de quelqu'un qui comprend comment canaliser son esprit. Sans cela, comme beaucoup de Collies, il peut rapidement se sentir submergé et être trop exigeant pour le mauvais foyer. Il travaille dur sur son apprentissage et montre un énorme potentiel. Il répond merveilleusement bien à l'engagement et s'épanouira absolument avec quelqu'un qui est engagé dans l'entraînement et la construction d'une bonne relation de travail avec lui. Jasper est sensible aux objets rapides tels que les vélos, les coureurs ou le trafic. C'est quelque chose qu'il travaille à surmonter et qui exigera une gestion continue et experte, et non l'évitement ou la frustration. C'est un garçon heureux et affectueux qui aime les gens, mais il a besoin des bonnes personnes. Une maison en milieu rural ou semi-rural est essentielle, ainsi qu'espace et compréhension de la race. L'expérience avec les Collies est fortement recommandée, ce n'est pas un chien pour lequel on apprend au fur et à mesure, sauf si vous êtes pleinement engagé. Meet Jasper, a beautiful young male Collie just under a year old, full of potential and a real zest for life. He is a striking black and white boy with bright, intelligent eyes, everything you would expect from a true working Collie. Jasper is a very people focused boy who thrives on connection. He wants to be with you, work with you and learn alongside you. He will build a strong bond and enjoys being part of daily life. Jasper is exactly what a working Collie should be, clever, driven, active and always thinking. Because of this, he is not suited to a typical pet home. He needs purpose, structure and someone who understands how to channel his mind. Without this, like many Collies, he can quickly become overwhelmed and too much for the wrong home. He is working hard on his learning and shows huge potential. He responds brilliantly to engagement and will absolutely thrive with someone committed to training and building a proper working relationship with him. Jasper can be sensitive to fast moving things such as bikes, joggers and traffic. This is something he is working through and will need continued, knowledgeable handling, not avoidance or frustration. He is a happy, affectionate boy who loves people, but he needs the right people. A rural or semi rural home is essential, along with space and an understanding of the breed. Collie experience is strongly preferred, this is not a learn as you go type of dog unless you are fully committed. Jasper is not difficult, he is simply a true working Collie in need of the right outlet. In the right hands, he will be an incredibly loyal, intelligent and rewarding companion.
