06-06-26 Kiki est une belle fille qui est venue dans notre établissement provenant d'un éleveur en quête d'une nouvelle chance. Lorsque Kiki est arrivée, elle a passé les premiers jours tranquillement au fond de sa cage et était évidemment submergée et incertaine. Depuis lors, elle a commencé à gagner en confiance, notamment après avoir été présentée à un compagnon canin confiant. Avoir un autre chien autour d'elle l'a vraiment aidée à se sentir plus en sécurité, et elle est maintenant heureuse d'être approchée et apprécie une douce attention, bien qu'elle reste fondamentalement timide. Kiki cherchera un foyer avec un autre chien bienveillant et confiant pour la prendre sous leur aile et être son ami. Elle tire du réconfort des autres chiens et bénéficiera d'un compagnon calme pour l'aider à s'adapter à sa nouvelle vie. Comme Kiki n'a jamais vécu dans un foyer auparavant, elle devra apprendre tout ce qui concerne l'entraînement à la maison et les bases de la vie en famille. Ses adoptants devront être patients et compréhensifs pendant qu'elle s'adapte à son rythme. En tant que German Shorthaired Pointer, Kiki aimera un foyer actif où elle pourra profiter d'un mode de vie enrichissant une fois qu'elle sera installée et aura acquis confiance. Elle peut déjà marcher bien en laisse et harnais, mais elle marche mieux en harnais. Kiki est arrivée un peu faible sur ses pattes arrière, potentiellement en raison d'un manque de musculature, mais avec un exercice doux alors qu'elle renforce sa musculature, cela devrait commencer à s'améliorer. Elle a aussi une bosse et une cicatrice sur le genou avant droit, qui pourrait être un tissu cicatriciel, mais nos vétérinaires l'évalueront davantage. Kiki a une nature douce et charmante qui commence déjà à briller. Bien qu'elle soit encore en train de trouver ses repères, elle fait des progrès chaque jour, et nous espérons que, grâce à la patience, la gentillesse et le soutien d'un compagnon canin, elle continuera à gagner en confiance et à profiter de tout ce que la vie en famille a à offrir. Ce chien peut être adopté avec un chien résident.

06-06-26 Kiki is a beautiful girl who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. When Kiki first arrived, she spent her first couple of days quietly staying at the back of her kennel and was understandably overwhelmed and unsure. Since then, she has begun to gain confidence, particularly after being introduced to a confident canine companion. Having another dog around has really helped her feel more secure, and she is now happy to be approached and enjoys a gentle fuss, although she remains a shy girl at heart. Kiki will be looking for a home with another kind and confident resident dog to take her under their wing and be her friend. She takes reassurance from other dogs and will benefit from having a calm companion to help guide her as she settles into her new life. As Kiki has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training and the other basics of home life. Her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she settles in at her own pace. Being a German Shorthaired Pointer, Kiki would like an active home where she can enjoy an enriching lifestyle once she has settled and built her confidence. She can already walk well on a lead and harness, but walks better on a harness. Kiki has arrived feeling a little weak on her back legs, potentially due to a lack of muscle, but with gentle exercise as she builds up muscle this should start to improve. She also has a lump and scar on her front right knee, which may be scar tissue, but our vets will assess this further. Kiki has a gentle and lovely nature that is already beginning to shine through. While she is still finding her feet, she is making progress every day, and we hope that with patience, kindness, and the support of a canine friend, she will continue to grow in confidence and enjoy all that home life has to offer. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
