Lance is one of those dogs who has a wonderful way of stealing your heart from the moment you meet him. With his easy-going, happy-go-lucky personality and incredibly affectionate nature, it doesn’t take long before you find yourself completely smitten with this lovely boy. At heart, Lance is a real softie. He loves nothing more than sitting beside you for plenty of cuddles and kisses, and if you happen to offer him a good ear scratch, you’ll quickly become one of his favourite people! He absolutely adores being around people and has so much love to give to those around him. But Lance isn’t just a cuddle-on-the-sofa kind of boy. Alongside his affectionate side is a fun-loving personality that is always ready for an adventure. Whether he’s heading out for a walk, exploring somewhere new or simply having a good run around and play in the garden, Lance loves getting out and enjoying himself. He has a lovely balance of being able to enjoy the excitement of an adventure before settling down for some all-important affection afterwards. Our volunteers have nothing but wonderful things to say about Lance. He’s fantastic with people and walks beautifully on the lead, making walks with him an absolute pleasure. His relaxed and friendly nature makes him such enjoyable company, and he’s the kind of dog who can turn an ordinary walk into one of the best parts of your day. There’s also one very reliable way to Lance’s heart… treats! This boy absolutely loves his food, and his enthusiasm for a tasty reward is a fantastic tool when it comes to training. He’s always happy to work for something delicious, giving his future family a brilliant opportunity to continue his training while strengthening that all-important bond. Lance really does offer the best of both worlds – a loving companion who will happily soak up all the cuddles and affection you can give him, paired with a playful, adventurous side that is ready to get out there and enjoy life with you.
