Ce charmant garçon s'appelle Louis. Il est amical, affectueux et adore l'attention ; il ne trouve rien de plus agréable qu'un bon câlin. Il a une personnalité vive et active et prosperera dans un foyer où il pourra bénéficier de beaucoup d'exercice, d'enrichissement et de compagnie. Il peut être assez bruyant parfois, notamment lorsqu'il est excité ou cherche l'attention, donc les futurs adoptants devront être prêts à l'aider à apprendre quand se calmer et se détendre. Comme il n'a eu qu'une expérience limitée pour marcher en laisse, il aura besoin d'un entraînement patient et de conseils pour comprendre les bases. Il peut également manquer de confiance lorsqu'il est en extérieur dans des environnements nouveaux, donc une récompense positive continue et le renforcement de la confiance seront importants pour l'aider à se sentir en sécurité et à l'aise. Malgré ces défis, c'est un compagnon affectueux et gratifiant. Avec un maître patient et compréhensif qui sera prêt à continuer son entraînement et sa socialisation, il ira certainement très bien et deviendra un jeune homme merveilleux et confiant. Il bénéficiera d'un jardin privé sécurisé. Louis peut être très hésitant avec les autres chiens, nous souhaitons donc qu'il soit réadopté comme seul chien, où son nouveau maître pourra lentement renforcer sa confiance avec les autres chiens en étant très patient et en utilisant des méthodes positives. Comme Louis est entré dans le refuge en tant que chien errant, nous n'avons aucune histoire antérieure sur lui, nous préférons donc que les enfants présents dans le foyer aient 12 ans ou plus.

This gorgeous boy is Louis. He is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves attention and enjoys nothing more than a good fuss. He has a lively, active personality and would thrive in a home where he can enjoy plenty of exercise, enrichment and companionship. He can be quite vocal at times, particularly when excited or seeking attention, so potential adopters should be prepared to help him learn when to settle and relax. As he has had limited experience walking on a lead, he will need some patient lead training and guidance to help him understand the basics. He can also lack confidence when out and about in new environments, so ongoing positive reinforcement and confidence building will be important to help him feel secure and comfortable. Despite these challenges, he is a loving and rewarding companion. With a patient, understanding owner who is willing to continue his training and socialisation, he is sure to flourish into a wonderful and confident boy. He would benefit from a private secure garden. Louis can be very unsure around other dogs so we would like him to be rehomed as the only dog where his new adopter can slowly build up his confidence around other dogs with plenty of patience and positive reinforcement. As Louis came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 12+ years.
