Maiko, born approximately 2019, neutered, approximately 55 cm shoulder height, at the shelter since 08/2024 Maiko comes from the Bals public animal shelter and has been with us at the shelter for some time. He has not been touched yet, so we cannot yet check his teeth and general condition. But his curiosity and interest in people are clearly noticeable. Maiko lives peacefully with the other dogs in a large enclosure and shows a balanced and friendly nature. We very much hope that Maiko is not one of the dogs that are often overlooked because of their coat color. He has already developed well with us and shows that he is ready to build trust - step by step. With patience and calmness, Maiko could flourish in a loving home and finally get the chance at a happy life he so deserves. Currently in Romania and allowed to travel if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated for intestinal parasites and ectoparasites at their arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life at the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. 11/2025 Maiko, geboren ca. 2019, kastriert ca. 55 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 08/2024 Maiko stammt aus dem öffentlichen Tierheim Bals und ist nun seit einiger Zeit bei uns im Shelter. Er lässt sich bisher noch nicht anfassen, so dass wir Zähne und Allgemeinzustand noch nicht kontrollieren können. Aber seine Neugier und sein Interesse an Menschen ist deutlich zu spüren. Maiko lebt friedlich mit den anderen Hunden in einem großen Auslauf zusammen und zeigt dabei ein ausgeglichenes und freundliches Wesen. Wir hoffen sehr, dass Maiko nicht zu den Hunden gehört, die allein aufgrund ihrer Fellfarbe oft übersehen werden. Er hat sich bei uns schon gut entfaltet und zeigt, dass er bereit ist, Vertrauen aufzubauen – Schritt für Schritt. Mit Geduld und Ruhe könnte Maiko in einem liebevollen Zuhause weiter aufblühen und endlich die Chance auf ein glückliches Leben bekommen, die er so verdient. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
