Notre douce fille était au chenil public de Sparta, dans une cage sale avec beaucoup d'autres chiens, sous-alimentée et extrêmement effrayée. Nous l'avons récupérée grâce à un ordre du procureur, avec 43 autres chiens, et elle est venue dans notre refuge à Athènes. Dès le début, elle était avec trois autres chiens qui lui ressemblaient beaucoup et semblaient être des frères et sœurs. Parmi les quatre, elle était toujours la plus hésitante. Peu à peu, elle est entraînée et commence à être plus fonctionnelle. Massa est un chien qui bénéficierait grandement d'avoir un autre chien à la maison. Naturellement, elle ne prend pas l'initiative, est insecure et très hésitante, et ne fait pas facilement confiance aux gens. Cependant, lorsqu'il y a un autre chien à la maison, ou lorsqu'elle sort avec un autre chien, elle les imite, gagne en confiance et devient bien plus fonctionnelle. Il n'est pas impossible qu'elle s'adapte à un foyer en tant que seul animal de compagnie, mais cela sera très difficile pour elle et pour ses nouveaux maîtres. Our sweet girl was in the public pound of Sparta , in a dirty cage along with many other dogs, malnourished and incredibly scared. We took her from there with a prosecutor's order, along with 43 other dogs, and she came to our shelter in Athens. She was from the beginning with three other dogs, who looked very similar to her and seemed siblings. Of the 4 she was always the most hesitant. Little by little she is trained and begins to be more functional. Massa is a dog who would benefit greatly from having another dog in the house. By nature, she does not take initiative, is insecure, and quite hesitant, and does not easily trust people. However, when there is another dog in the house, or when she goes out with another dog, she mimics them, gains more confidence, and becomes much more functional. It is not impossible for her to adapt to a home as the only pet, but it will be very challenging for both her and her new owners.
