Rescued from a kill shelter in Romania alongside his sister, Mandy, Max was understandably worried when he first arrived. The world felt uncertain, and he needed a little time to realise he was finally safe. After just a few days, Max began to relax, and his truly adorable personality started to shine through. Once he felt reassured, it became clear that he is a loving, friendly dog who thrives on human connection. He absolutely adores attention and is happiest when he’s close to his people, enjoying all the affection they have to offer. Max also has a playful side and loves to engage with toys, making him a lovely mix of cuddly companion and fun-loving friend. Whether it’s playtime or quiet time together, Max is simply content being part of a caring home where he feels secure and loved. We believe Max would do best in a patient, understanding home that can continue to build his confidence and help him feel safe as he settles into family life.
