Hi, I’m Mercedes. My birthday is May 2, 2026. My mom was found to be pregnant and gave birth to six kittens in a foster home. My sister Roma didn’t make it. Unfortunately, Mom became ill and could no longer produce milk. We were still too young to eat on our own, so the five of us were picked up by our current foster mom. We didn’t like milk from a bottle at all—understandably, after four weeks of mother’s milk. Eventually, we started getting baby mush with milk, which we initially didn’t enjoy—but later, we got used to it and began eating it well. Now that we’re big enough, we’re looking for a golden little home. All five of us have something unique about us, but I’ve got two special traits. I’m the whitest one of us all, and I’m the only girl. Having grown up with four tough brothers, I’m definitely not a “dainty” type. I can definitely hold my own and often win scuffle matches against one of my brothers. I’m a sweet and affectionate kitty, and as soon as I see my foster mom, I run straight toward her for attention or a cuddle. I’m also incredibly brave—I walk around the house growling while carrying my toys. That way, my brothers know right away that trying to take my toys away from me is a lost cause. My favorite toys are plush balls and mice. Recently, I discovered the Catit Play Circuit and now I get to chase around a ball there. I also love playing with my brothers or the younger foster kittens. With the little ones, I’m super sweet. I usually sleep together with someone, but sometimes I like to sleep alone. Yes, as a girl, you need some me-time every now and then. I’ve been vaccinated twice, dewormed, flea-treated, and microchipped. Hoi, Ik ben Mercedes. Mijn geboortedatum is 2 mei 2026. Mijn mama is zwanger gevonden en bevallen van zes kittens in een pleeggezin. Zusje Roma heeft het niet gered. Helaas werd mama ziek, waardoor ze geen melk meer had. We waren nog te klein om zelfstandig te eten en zijn met zijn vijfjes opgehaald door onze huidige pleegmama. Melk uit een flesje vonden we niks. Logisch na vier weken moedermelk. Uiteindelijk kregen we pap van baby mousse met melk en dat vonden we eerst niks, maar later ging dat er goed in. Nu we groot genoeg zijn, zijn we op zoek naar een gouden mandje. Alle vijf hebben we wel iets unieks, maar heb 2 unieke kenmerken. Ik ben het meest wit van ons allemaal en ik ben het enige meisje. Doordat ik opgegroeid ben met vier stoere broertjes, ben ik absoluut geen tuttebelletje. Ik sta mijn mannetje wel en win regelmatig een stoeipartijtje van één van mijn broertjes. Ik ben een lief en aanhankelijk poesje en zodra ik mijn pleegmama zie, ren ik hard op haar af om aandacht of een knuffel te krijgen. Ik ben ook ontzettend stoer en loop grommend met mijn speeltjes door het huis. Zo weten mijn broertjes meteen dat proberen af te pakken kansloos is. Favoriete speeltjes zijn balletjes en muisjes van pluche. Sinds kort heb ik de Catit playcircuit ontdekt en mag ik daar een balletje meppen. Ik speel ook graag met mijn broertjes of de jongere pleegkittens. Voor de kleintjes ben ik ontzettend lief. Slapen doe ik meestal samen met iemand en soms alleen. Ja, je hebt als meisje af en toe me-time nodig. Ik ben twee keer ingeënt, ontwormd, ontvlooid en gechipt. Voor mijn laatste enting en castratie (zo heet dat ook bij een poes) krijg je bij mijn adoptie een tegoedbon mee die je in kunt wisselen bij een dierenarts die aangesloten is bij Hokazo.
