Melanie arrived at the shelter on August 7, 2026. She is a slightly reserved little dog at first, who needs some time to observe and gain confidence before approaching. However, her curiosity eventually gets the better of her and she ends up letting loose. The presence of other dogs also helps her a lot: when she sees others approaching and interacting with people, she takes them as a reference and is encouraged to imitate them. Melanie needs just a few days to get to know you and gain confidence, so with patience and the right references, she won't take long to show you that behind that initial shyness is a curious and receptive little dog eager to get to know you.
